Trenitalia E464.335 (ex Frecciabianca, now InterCity hybrid) with IC674 Li-Mi at Viareggio

E464.335 spent less than a year in Frecciabianca colours. During this time, it was one of the locos that ran the premium Messina-Palermo FB service in Sicily. The trains looked great, but unfortunately were little faster than standard trains, but cost much more. Also, new trains were being introduced at the same time on Regionale Veloce services. The FB lasted from around Oct 2021 to summer 2022. The locos were then repainted in this hybrid Intercity livery and used in general service.
Here the loco is hauling IC 674 (Livorno to Milano Centrale), passing through Viareggio on 27/06/2024. You can see some of the FB colours showing around the cab door.
It is also a bit amusing to see that the red stripe on the revised InterCity Sun grey stripe colours is a couple of inches higher than the original all white version!
