He needs to go out straight but instead he does a something weird (looks like a hook gone wrong lol). This will waste alot of energy and also alot of time. He needs to work on his movement a little. He needs to use up the whole ring as it will save him from getting cornered. He should also have his hand up at all times. For example if you were to do a jab in a ring, you do a jab (while your other hand is up covering you) and quickly bring your hand back (try and be fast-may need to work on Stamina) and then move around. I am a fan of JJ and I am 100% sure he will be alot better by time the fight comes around. Just needs a little practice. Trust me I know!

Please work on your hip movement. Don't throw punches based on where you want to throw them. Throw your punches based on where your hips are and how much torque you can get. Make sure to have good technique on every punch. Regardless this is coming from someone who's boxed for 12 years. You're doing pretty well for a beginner. Keep going. Don't spar so much straight off the bat. Build up your foundation. You have to walk before you can run.
