--- The Gulf of Carpentaria is well known for it's mud crabs. I know the commercial crabbers that base themselves on the Mcarthur River pretty well and enjoyed spending a few days in the Gulf with them.
In this episode we catch some Barramundi, we do some reef fishing, and of course catch some big mud crabs.

This one was huge too. Way bigger than the camera makes it look. We’ve seen a few of them in that area.

It’s a big question mate. So many options. Camping, houseboats, lodge, cabins…. If it was your first trip to King Ash Bay I’d recommend staying at the Lodge. And hopefully other people are staying there at the same time that have been to KAB before. Have a few beers with them and ask questions.

Why do they just run a genie? Why not have solar panels? Surely you could cover the roof with them and save a bob on fuel. IM not a fuckin greenie btw, but the fuel prices now you'd want to have a solar panel
It's just not viable for these shacks mate. They aren't exactly structurally sound. They need major repairs after every wet season.
With that being said, I think mullet has a small, basic solar setup that he runs some lights on. Would need something more substantial to run his fridges and freezers.
