I'll be honest: I think she's a terrible actress. But I absolutely love her spirit and her enthusiam about math (which I hate). She seems like a lovely and smart person.
She mentions there is no "Eureka Moment" when developing a Math theorem. Well, if it passed a series of evaluations, then I would say she came pretty close. Isn't that an accomplishment in itself?
math should be easy to consume, and perform. more easy than things like say english/language arts because all you do is follow a formula and perform certain steps to get the answer, yes its boring and tedious to have to show your work and practice a lot but you don't have to make stuff up like you would have to with writing or creating art or performing a play or dance piece or song because the arts unlike mathematics are very subjective to ones view and personal interpretation and thats partially why the arts are so easily over saturated and math is not.
