When Steven reunited with Amethyst, Garnet, and Pearl and they were all crying because he almost died- I felt such an intense need to hug them all, so much. They’re fictional characters, yeah, but still. This show is really good at evoking emotions.
poor steven is a kind and gentle child who just has so so much love in his heart and people keep coming at him as if all the war crimes rose committed are his fault. he wants so bad to be able to talk things out and he dislikes violence so much but hes finding out that thats not always an option and its weighing on him
Steven gets sucked into the vast emptiness of space and almost killed by a ruby that he then had to also cast of into the hopeless abyss alone just to survive all while trying to contend with the fact that the person he looked up to and was trying to emulate this whole time, turned out to be a murderer and hypocrite. Sputnik: "Yeah nothing much happened this finale." 🤣😅 all joking aside, When they say that Earth was Pinks planet, they just meant that she was the one over seeing the colonization of earth and making sure it went smoothly, I try to think of it like being a manager/owner of a franchise shop, So pink was like a manager overseeing a new branch of the Gem empire.
At this point in the show, nobody knows what Steven being half-human means for his lifespan, or what hurting him in various ways would do. So what would happen if something happened to his gem, or his body gets hurt enough that a gem would normally poof? We don't really know yet
We do know how he ages because of that one birthday episode, he has to feel like that age and his gem will age him accordingly. And the other birthday episode shows that he will stay that age if he doesn’t grow up, so we know what it means for his lifespan. He can choose how long he can live. But yeah anything else at this point in the show we don’t know
I know Steven Universe isn't exactly scientifically accurate, but... getting blown out of an airlock isn't anywhere near enough to achieve escape velocity from the moon.
I know this is late...but legally, you do need consent to heal someone. If they're unconscious or otherwise unable to communicate and there's no family/trustee around, consent is implied. But in all other cases, consent is necessary.
Love the channel and patreon but i have a suggestion, I feel like the uncut reactions would be way more fun to watch if they also included the little episode in the corner or smth so we could watch along with yall and stuff.
Fun fact: Some gems actually do discolor in the sun. Amethysts will turn golden brown.
