The series documents dismantling and reverse engineering "The Flip Side", a 1:5 scale pinball machine created by American Girl (the doll company). Parts 1-4 of the series cover cabinet and backbox disassembly, circuit tracing, backbox protocol reverse engineering, and displaying score digits using a Teensy microcontroller.
