Prince of Foxes ( Suite )

This 1949 Fox feature starred Tyrone Power and Orson Welles in renaissance Italy. The film details the wicked intrigues of the infamous Borgias. The film was shot at the actual locations,with a keen eye for costumes and detail. Unfortunately the budget did not stretch to technicolor. The score was composed by Alfred Newman. The suite contains ...Prelude / The garden fete / Love theme / Camilla /Andrea Orsini / Borgia`s triumphal march / End title.

Just found this here. One of my favorite movies too. It's a sin they shot in black and white but that's another subject. I love the score, especially the love theme & the way it's introduced when Orsini arrives in Venice, with a faroff voice singing it. Thanks for posting!
