I'm going to invest in one of these short throw projectors but can you tell me how you get actual images and sounds from movies and what software is best? It seems like a lot of artists don't want to share the secrets to making the good stuff, but you seem helpful and different than they are. I just don't want to waste money then find I cant even create a a show like celebration of horrors... I don't really have that kind of money to waste :(
I totally get that! I’m a film major with a focus on special effects and editing. I use mostly Adobe after effects to make the shows and I create the images or download them from the internet when needed. I approach all my shows from a filmmaking point of view (I storyboard them and outline the different scenes). I wish it was as easy as making a “tutorial” on how to make a show but most of it just comes from working with after effects constantly for tons of projects. If I could give you any advice it’s to learn after effects as much as you can and then once you have a good sense of how all the tools work, apply it to whatever you’re trying to achieve in a show. I hope that helps!

Omg I just watched the 2020 Halloween show and just watched this one. I’m loving them so much. Michael Myers is my Favorite slasher Icon and The Halloween Series is my favorite but I really love Saw in this one. (I love the Saw Series as well.)

Okay I have to say this because a lot of people are saying this is one of the best projections I like the birds I really like that the birds are flying around it almost gives the illusion of them flying at you I don't know if they're crows or Raven but I'm calling them Ravens the only thing I see wrong with this projection and it's the only thing is so far out of place and if you see this halfway through you're going to say it's the awesomest thing the only negative thing is Alfred Hitchcock which is not wrong but then you crossed it with the Matrix what in the blue hell of Night Terrors it chapter 2 season 4 does Alfred hitchcock have to do with the Matrix The Matrix has nothing to do with Halloween or being scary less known having anything to do with Alfred Hitchcock that part needs to be taken out Alfred Hitchcock can stable put something else there The Matrix has no place in Halloween at all trying to be scary also the Amityville house was a good one too the bullet holes and everything looked good it should have put the evil eyes in the window also I like the Freddy coming out of the house I've seen like five different house projections and everybody uses that one I can see right now that that's going to be very very overused but still if you're going to overuse something I like that one this is ironically the first one I saw with the birds flying around it needs to have more stuff like that like fog or Birds I like the way it came out with his arms out of the house that was pretty good too yep in case you didn't notice I'm commenting as the video plays I also like the way the Steam and the fog came over the house as the blood dripped down that was actually pretty cool it was the saw setting but what's with the twinkling stars after LOL and also is it just me or is Ghostface not threatening at all he's not threatening it's a human chunky isn't threatening either but at least he has some supernaturalism to him I mean he used Voodoo to transfer his soul into a doll so he wouldn't have to go to hell so that being said goes faces he's a man with a knife that's it he's a simple human man with a knife who can be killed with a stab or a gunshot wound Jason Freddy Krueger freaking Michael Myers even chunky these people cannot be killed by gunfire they cannot be killed by anything Earthly so why is Ghostface forever praise in a Halloween like he doesn't even scare children I get that you want to use as many horror tropes and monsters as you can but I'm sick of seeing ghost face I hated the movie screen even Poltergeist earned a place in this not just because it's something that I grew up watching but it's supernatural activity I think that's what scares people the fact that it's supernatural activity I'm not knocking girls faces a killer I'm just saying he's non-threatening I'm 6 ft 7 and I'm more threatened by Chucky because if you go to sleep like Freddy he can basically take your soul cuz if you wake up and Chucky is over you like he did Andy and Child's Play too if you're tied down and he's doing the chant there's nothing you can do before you can get out of it you can Wiggle all you want to but your soul is still gone if he completes the chant even Beetlejuice is not scary they showed him but he's also earned a bigger place in Halloween then Ghostface ever did and people are always praising Ghostface cuz he's such an awesome killer oh he's so great know he's not people that think he's great are very easily frightened and scared where does zombies where the goes where the apparitions at I want to see something terrifying like really really creepy psycho was great The Amityville Horror was great Poltergeist all of those were great scream needs to go go replace screen please for the love of all that is October replace scream with Beetlejuice or something Supernatural other than that this was a really great projection show with the exception of Scream And The Matrix those two need to go
