I know right, I should have paid a little more attention in computer class in school but it was 1994. The only thing I learned was how to type and to play Wolfenstein.

It's not just being tech savvy, but clearly you need to learn some psychology and human nature to outsmart them.

Same if I had the skills, money to invest, tech, and talent I'd absolutely do this. I have all the time (I'm disabled so can't work) and would absolutely love to waste their time to help others all around to be protected from these thieves.

I don’t have social media to share this story, but, it’s worth sharing here.
Today at work before lunch I walk into 7-11. Walking through the store I hear a phone call going on. An older woman has a call with a gentleman about gift cards. We all know where this was trying to go.
I stopped her. I had to. Asked her straight out what she buying and the amount. She looked at me like I was crazy. So I asked if it was gift cards in an amount of more than $100. She nodded.
I told her step for step, what led her to looking at those gift cards, being instructed by one of these scammers while she does it. She looked dumbfounded.
Got my phone out. Showed her Pierogi. After showing her what she was about to do she just left. I don’t know if she believed me, I don’t know if she thought I was crazy. I showed her my Park District shirt I had on, swore on my name and reputation here, swore on my kids lives. It almost had me in tears.
I hope she took my advice.

My mom just tried to be scammed! He said my son was in jail and needed 17000 dollars for bail. He sapousadbly got into an accident with a pregnant lady....
Luckily it was on the weekend and she couldn't go to the bank to get the money. I finally got a hold of my son and realized it was a scam....
So when he called back today I told him to stay in jail and call me back in a month!!!😅
It was a scam and unfortunately my mom is getting old and doesn't know about the scam....
I was just happy that I was there when she was on the phone!!!

I remember being scammed and blackmailed by scammers. The day the scammer was arrested was one of the best day for me. I felt relieved

Bro I just had one of them scammers call me. They got so mad when I mentioned scammer payback. They knew right away and got really dirty. So I proceeded to tell them what they were gonna do next and then he got super mad and raged like normal. Then after I told him he was lucky I didn't have my laptop with me and couldn't snag his money like you he got mad and hung up. Was for sure one of the guys that you deal with because they knew exactly who you were when I brought you up and it upset them pretty bad. Listening to them get super upset and talk in their own language back and forth made my day.

Never trust Indians in anything. This is an example of their country's lack of international integrity, ethics, and honor.

Hey Pierogi and squad. Just want to say thanks for all your hard work and sacrifice. I really enjoy your content and the value you bring to the world. Today I was at a local Safeway grocery store checking out when an older lady walked up to the coinstar/crypto machine with her phone on speaker and asks “ok what now” instantly I thought of your scenarios and I told the lady to be cautious because of the amount of scams like that. Instantly the lady paid attention to me and backed away from the machine as I walked her through getting out of the situation. As we walked back to her car she was so relieved because she just withdrew 6k and about to send it to them. It felt good to know how to help someone out in these situations.

Thank you pierogi because of you I know scamming the scammers myself.. I called him back so many times they block my number... Or they changed their number... The longest I've had them on the phone was for 5 and a half hours over about 12 different phone calls same call center..

My elderly friend was scammed out of $105k. Her retirement. She sent it to a scammer through bank wire transfer a few months back believing it was for taxes. Filed a police report and reported it to the bank. She was told nothing could be done. Is there anything that can be done?

A scammer on Facebook had the typical army guys picture and they forgot to change the name of the account from Ellie or didn’t realize that was a girls name. When I told him he looked really buff for an Ellie he said that was his mother’s name and he did it in honor of her….without a single picture of her on the account. I was laughing so hard

I've been watching a couple of your videos and while it's enjoyable seeing scammers getting a taste of their own medicine I think a video dedicated to educating people on how scams work, what red flags to look out for, and how to protect themselves (which you do cover) but in one video - will be really helpful to people. These scammer prey on the elderly. My dad, in his 70's, after a stroke and mild dementia, got scammed and both wired and send in cash money.
These videos are so comical, from Perogi laughing between sentences while on call to saying you’ve sent money to the Microsoft guys, it wastes so much of their time and I love it😂😂😂
That's why I don't believe anybody with an American name and has an Indian accent. Until this day I still receive text messages and emails from scammers saying I have a package from UPS, PayPal, Amazon, and that I need to contact them if I want my package to be delivered to my house. I do what everybody does and call them back and I play around with them and ask them what I ordered and of course...they hang up. Love your videos Pierogi! Keep up the good work man!

I love everything I've learned on how to entrap scammers from this channel. Recently helped my dad. Scammers were the last thing he needed, since my dad was just flown by helicopter to have heart surgery done. Scary times, but he's all right.
My grandmother gets scammed about once a month now. Most recent one was publishers clearing house. I wish I could do more to help😅
