Winters’ ability to record cracking footage whilst playing 40K, rolling buckets of dice and bantering is very impressive. Shockingly smooth camera work. You love to see it
Hands down the best battle reports in 40k, he has a real skill for making it immersive to watch, but edits it just enough so it's not tedious to watch. Brilliant!
Brap is such a wholesome chap and an absolute chad at painting & kitbashing too. His lists are always so narrative-driven, it's always a treat to watch and his sense of humor just effortlessly hits home every time :D Had a real blast watching this

Some amazing conversions in there, love the jump packs with spears. That Chaplain, looks a little black Legion, you may have been infiltrated.

Once more Winters, you've made my Sunday. It's a bit dull and grey outside and this is the perfect thing to see on my feed.
I like Winters secret strategy of saving his ravenors for next game. Dunno maybe I missed them but if not you got to bring them on for your next Tyranid game
I get the sense that he does that on purpose sometimes. Just being nice when the battle is as close as this is, you know? Cause like, it's not the first time he's "forgotten" things like this, but that also means it's not the first time the other player hasn't remembered either, and that just seems.... Unlikely-ish.
I usually watch these for the army presentations alone, and this one did not disappoint. The Minotaurs are fantastic. He's got a power falcata!

Normally I root for Winters; but those Minotaurs look sooooo good 😍 The Chaplain on his Goliath Bike is especially cool.

I loved this one. Still not sure, whether i like 10th, or not. But the fact that u guys said "talk to ur oponent to have fun games" made my day. Usualy i prefer to go to the club, build the battlefield and take on who ever comes, but its gettin harder to find fun matches. maybe its time to "prepare" the matches. Thank u guys. 1:24:43 assault cannon has devastating wounds, if im not mistaken. So that would be a mortal wound
But I think its about to die in the combat phase, hopefully doesn’t survive on 1 wound…

Great video. Although... at first glance, I thought your terrain were piles of tortillas with cheese sprinkled on the side
I tested it before we deployed and sadly it was just resin terrain. Gorgeous! But not Doritos. I will suggest it for next time though. Disappearing throughout turns
I have 3 small armies that have been built around narrative concepts and also the rule of cool. If i go against a competitive player i would imagine that they would table me by turn two. When i want a game i will only play people with the same mindset. If i loose that is fine. I prefer fun game not a meta kill game. Love this channel as you have they same mind set as me

Winters, my good man! At 1:03 you mention that, with only having 2 CP, spending one to reroll the save on the Haruspex meant that you couldn't interrupt for teh Hive Tyrant ... but you forgot that the Hive Tyrant gives you a free Stratagem in each turn! So you could have, in fact, interrupted with him (for free!) and laid into those nastynasty Terminators. It was a noble death, but the next time, don't forgot the special rules... your Hive Tyrants are icons for a reason!
(Now to watch the rest of teh report. So tense!)

I thought you could consolidate as long as it's towards the objective even if you're within objective range?
Awesome game btw! Your channel helps A LOT with learning 10th ed rules for those of us who don't have easy access to games.
Yes, you can consolidate closer to an objective even if you're already in range of it. But you have to consolidate towards an enemy unit if it's possible to end in engagement range, you can only move towards an objective if there are no enemy units close enough. So he could have consolidated with the genestealers, but would have had to engage the drop pod and not just move to the objective.
@@KahaniKhalifa ahhhh, ok so in that situation he would have been forced to engage the drop pod instead of moving towards the objective, so he just chose to remain where he was. Got it, thanks!!

Joking aside, this battlereport is a good showcase of thing you can play with in tenth. I can feel it being less deadly as intended (which I like), especially with tanks/monsters. And that I probably shouldn't try to punch those in melee. That being said, I'm very tempted to get a big squad of assault interesseccors with a character. The flurry of blows does add up.

I have the stls for some of those bits just sitting in my computer, now that i see what can be done with them, gotta try them out. Im gonna do some heresy tho, and mix them up with either dark angels or iron warriors
When you forget to shoot on your turn and your Opponent lets you shoot the dice gods still make it 0 wounds!

Brap, did you not have enough CPs to try an overwatch on the Herospex? If I had to CP I would have tried to put him down when he fell back no matter what. Great game and love that Minotaurs army.
I don’t think I did you know? You have very few CP in 10th, which I like as it makes for tense moments like trying to kill that tongue beast!
