It was perfect for Jack and Randal to be the very last characters we see in the show. As important and as impactful every other character was, I feel like their bond is what sparks everything else. Jack adopting Randall and the effect his parenting made him to be the man he grew up to be, and the impact the two had on everyone else around them. They were legendary men in their respective families of origin and of choice. Absolutely perfect.
Randall was a waste after season 2 becoming an emotionally irrational social justice fool. I Fast forwarded through all his parts. His family was a waste of air time, everybody Tuned in to see Rebecca, Kevin, and Kate. Randall’s story lime was phony woke boring garbage.
Love the fact Rebeca on the episode before presses Randall hand and then now it shows actually she was holding jack’s hand on her way to another place.. and this means their conection and actually father mother and son were holding hands together each one in one reality…. This little scene is absolutely amazing and gets me everytime
I'll miss the Pearsons. This is Us was so powerfull.
I may be reading too much in the scene
But the fact that Jack and Randall were the last part of the scene signifies that blood is not what is important but the bond between the parent and child
And the fact that Randall looked at Deja who was also not a blood relative but he is her father
The finale is the bonds not the blood for me
Anyone can be a father but not everyone can be a Dad.
I think people missed the point of the ending . I know a lot of people we’re expecting “something big to happen “ but that’s the point . So many people are always focused on the big things and don’t just slow down to enjoy the small little happy moments in life . That’s why it shows Randall enjoying his family moments as an adult as jack enjoyed his time he had with his family when Randall was a kid 😢🫶🏼
Randall is so much like Jack it’s beautiful ❤
My mum died of cancer at 59 (not a unique story, i know). She not only looked a bit like Rebecca in her younger years, but was as kind and strong too. The ending of This is Us is by far the hardest thing I've ever watched in my life. I felt like I was watching my mum's final moments.
Most beautiful show I’ve ever watched. No other series could’ve made me cry for a whole episode straight 🫶🏼
That ending was beautiful
I was so happy to see Jack in the caboose car.
I still can’t get through this clip without sobbing 😭
Me too.
That made me cry out loud
This Is Us is a masterpiece ❤️❤️❤️
This was a simple finale but as I watch this clip again, it ended in the most appropriate way possible.
Rewatch the whole show again.
Probably one of the best series finales ever. Mad Men snd this.
Best family drama in a loooong time ❤
This is one of the best this is us clip! ♥️ thanks for it
Perfect actors, they really sold us this story ❤
Crying so hard right now...
This just hits me deeply.
This show has so many wiseness. If I write all smart sentences from it it would be few pages
Poor Miguel!
Watched the last after few months since watching the train episodes
I thought the ending was beautiful; it was similar to the ending of Titanic, with Jack & Rose.
The ending reminded me of two other great tv series: Lost and Six Feet Under.
Someone has the name of this wonderful music ?
US(The Game plan) on iTunes
My favourite too ❤
Ends with the definitive version of Jack.
This destroyed me
“You’ll be there” so she will but not him? Don’t get what I’d meant by that.
Does anyone knows the soundtrack in this scene?
Us (the game plan) - Siddhartha Khosla
❤❤❤
The most shocking thing about this last two episodes was the absence of Apple products. Even Kate had something that looked like a Samsung on the plane
Yeah I noticed it too. Why is that? Is it because this is happening in the future?
@@kimberlydonuts9094wow is that what you were looking for!!
I will always wish that I had never spent nor wasted time watching this series. I grew up in a family of 11. Next to the eldest. I watched thinking the This is US in and of our family. I thought....Really. ya'll in this scripted movie have no clue.
😍😍😍😍
This show would be my number 1 show of all time if they hadn’t made it imperfect with their woke ideas after Covid
I agree wholeheartedly.
bad episode ending to a great series. Sad that they couldn't have a good ending, instead ending in such a little manner
this ending is unbelievably flawless. it just happens to be very subtle, but it's also extremely rich if you pay attention to the editing and the implications.
the shaving scene is a clever way of getting kevin to say "do i seem more like dad?" cut to present day, and uhhh yeah you sure do. he also imitates "you gotta appreciate the little things," which are really the big things. this is precisely what randall is doing in the present. appreciating a little moment with this family, even mimicking the same gestures and smile of jack as he chews on the moment. as randall looks at deja, jack is there with him... still in the painting.
the final shot of young randall appreciating jack appreciating the moment really drives it home. you don't need the big future jump to know that randall will remain in the painting in the same way as an older deja has a similar knowing moment with her kids. it's all connected. randall is jack. it's all one thing. this is us.
