Spent all my crafting medals that I saved for the past two seasons just to get the revenant skin and only got a bunch of gun skins.
I would suggest not gambling on this event
The fact they probably won't allow you to purchase a single legend or weapon skin like in the final fantasy event is crazy.

I hope the "Artifact" flops. I get that the Buster Sword from FF was huge because FF specifically FF7 have lots of fans and that sword is iconic. The Cobalt Katar is just... soulless.
I pray it flops. From these comments it seems like there is not much interest but that only a fraction of the player base. Other CZcamsrs have a lot of influence. I sure as hell won’t buy it

I don't think they're scrapping the legend heirlooms, it just might be a while until they get back to releasing them. The best thing we can do as a community is to show them this isn't what we want, or at the very least way too expensive. I would pay normal heirloom prices for this, but being that they are going full greed mode, I'm going to actively choose to not buy anything. I hope we all speak with our wallet and EA gets in line for once, otherwise this will be the new normal pricing.
Def want universal heirlooms over legend specific but the price is way too fucking steep.

Will the Cobalt Katar be exclusive to the event or will it enter the heirloom shop after the event ends? They didn't say the Cobalt Katar would be event exclusive to the event or not
Because its a universal i highly doubt the will put it in the main shop. But i saw leaks that they are introducing a new kind of shards for universal heirlooms but i assume they are going to be much rarer than heirloom shards

I rly want to buy this event because I really want a universal heirloom but I mostly want the legend and weapon skins, the cobalt katar just looks horrible, I would wait for another universal heirloom to come out and hope it’s better but I’m not sure what I should do
I suggest at least to wait if you don't like this heirloom but in my opinion you shouldn't buy any of the heirlooms when they become free later

@@richardcardo3001 Respawn and EA have been shown to back down in the past when players previously voted with their wallets and refused to pay for bullshit. By spending even a single penny in the final fantasy event, those people showed EA and Respawn that this specific brand of bullshit will be tolerated by a section of the community with more money than sense and so they’ll keep milking these events for as long as they can.

That's the whole point of the mode what are you talking about
Fights can drag on and cause everyone to run out of resources. They either need to make it possible to knock someone enough to kill them somehow, or make knocked players drop a bit of ammo and small heals so you're not running 1 gun with 12 bullets and a single syringe.
Pair that with a nerf to Mirage, Lifeline, and Newcastle rezes (Like literally just make them take like 2.5 seconds instead of 0.5 seconds) and then it would actually be the best mode they've ever done.

i realy hope no one buys this event. as respawn said themselves "vote with your wallet, if you don't want it, don't buy it, and we wont make it again" or something like that.. that's the reason we don't have reactive recolor events.

Tbf the recolor heirlooms are nice. Gives an opportunity to add new animations, and to add a banner frame, and every single recolor heirloom has looked significantly better than the original @@andre3k658

Don't buy anything from this event. I'm seeing a lot of people getting what they want the most or for the legend they play the most last as if there's an algorithm so you use all your crafty medals or AC coins before you get what you want
