Do you guys have a podcast/video planned for older guys that are planning on enlisting with interest in AFSOC field? Like, enlisting past the age of 27. Fully enjoying the podcast versions of these vids, listening to them while doing my workouts and runs.

@ones ready, cctpeaches, or anyone who has first-hand knowledge on cct
    1) so im kind of confuse. Besides humanitarian mission, does afsoc have a combat controller only team kind of like a special force or seal team where they do their own missions? or is cct strictly only as an attachment unit to SF/seal/etc.?
    2) since CCT are a 1-man attachment to sof units, how exactly does their deployment look like? specifically their time frame.
    3) So if a cct gets attached to a seal unit on one deployment, what happens on the next deployment. to they get attached to the same seal unit? or to a different sof unit?
    4) if they get attached to a sof unit, say a seal team, how does the CCT build any cohesion to the unit it gets attached to? it doesnt make sense in my head, its like having a guy jump in here for "x-amount of months" and then is gone after the deployment. Seems kind of a lonely journey in that case for the CCT. like i dont get how he can build any team chemistry with the sof unit he is attached knowing that it will only last for one deployment. I'd imagine that cct for the most part would be ostracize unless he has a golden charismatic personality, i dont get how a sf unit or a seal team would be able to perceive the cct as "part of the team." its like the CCT is a "third-wheel"?
    5) who does the cct train with when not deployed?

Yes my father said they operated with cct only teams at times. When they end a deployment with a team seal or rangers ect they are reassigned with a diffrent team on the next. CCT goes thru ranger school, seal buds, and many more you you can dream of as well you attend the school with other branches at the same time. Last i heard of afsoc teams were doing 6 month deployments. Training never stops. Sorry you answers are out of order but its the best i can give at this time. My father was a CCT instructor but that was long ago i hope this little information can help
