Good day Brothers. My son has tried making contact with an afspecwar recruiter because he wants to be a PJ. He is only a sophmore but has been preparing himself since last year. We were hoping the recruiter would show him a few things to help keep him motivated, however the recruiter won't call him back. Is it his age? Should I reach out to the PJ unit here in Portland amd just go aroumd the recruiter for now? I'm asking because he truly is a remarkable young man. 6a Varsity wrestler as a freshman, football and baseball as well. Great grades and work ethic. Leadership and marksman skills already. What should I do to keep him motivated. I personally have discouraged combat arms as my combat results were less than favorable afterwards. Any ideas will be utilized. Thank you P.S. any chance you guys wanna bring him on the show and fill him with all kinds of high speed info and experiences? God bless the Sheepdogs

Is it hard to get accepted to OTS and once through OTS, can I take the IFT and start my AFSW journey? I’m asking because I know for green berets, you have to be O-2 promotable to drop your package as an officer.

Wait a sec, you’re using a gen 7 tourniquet incorrectly. It’s not supposed to be fed through twice on the friction adapter. You’re applying the gen 6 friction adapter to the 7 and that makes zero sense.

The newer generation of CAT tourniquets have the single loop design. Not two. It’s hard to tell from the video, but I don’t think that the version of the tourniquet he has was intended to go through two loops as mentioned. Not an issue because the point he is making is still relevant and accurate IMO

Being an officer is so easy and rewarding specially for those of us who want more out of life and don’t just want to party. Promotion from O-1 to O-3 is a given just like promotion from E-1 to E-4, O-3s make more than an E-8 who’s been in for at least 10-15 years active duty
