- Gulmarg is known as meadow of flowers because in summer the entire valley turns into a flower valley. But in winter Gulmarg is covered with the snow and is very famous for adventure sports e.g. Snow Skating, Snow boarding, and Ice Skating.
This video can be useful for those who are planning to visit Gulmarg, Kashmir in the winters. I have given the full information and Itinerary of Gulmarg including the price which is very helpful for Tourists. Winter is little different than summer in terms of budget. Hotels' price rises like a rocket even regular commute are very expensive.

It was just a nostalgic vlog!!!enjoyed with whole family, we remembered our journey..Although I was not big enough when I travelled but this vlog helped to know.....U think Kashmir is expensive and even for vegetarians like us to find a pure vegetarian restaurant!!
Well truthfully if family is travelling than cabs won’t be expensive affair but for two it is. Secondly vegetarian is easily available so no issue . Dhaba’s are fine on the way reasonable but at Gulmarg I felt it was expensive.

Yes snow will be there in 1st of March... From JKTDC its hardly a distance to Gandola max 150meter

Hi Mam , in last , u mentioned Rs 12,000 per person , thats toooooo expensive , people can go with travel packages , i just spent Rs 25,000 for 4 ppl for 4 days , stayed at Dal lake , Gate No 7 , Moon of kashmir house boat , but no night stay at gulmarg or sonamarg , airport pickup and drop , with all sight seeing with breakfast and dinner was included in that 25 K
My friend, group booking and no night stay will certainly saves your money, I did mention that stay will double your amount. Cab charges are divided when you are in group. Gandola rides are expensive affair for all four, you can calculate how much you must have paid extra. And if they gave you Gandola ride in package then you are lucky enough. But truth is it is expensive affair. With all adventures sports and cabs and stay. Houseboats vary. But thanks, you shared your own experience.

U not need to carry anything they have a blower and heated mattress in the rooms...1stly u have to book the room bcoz in winter they are almost full

You have to take the vehicle from Union as shown in Video, otherwise, without a chain, they won't allow it. In Feb lot of snow hota hai so a chain is required

For Drone u have to fly with little caution. As such there is no rule and in police station they are clueless. So my suggestion is to fly from little far from the crowd. Nobody is going to ask you

Oxygen level is little low for sure but u can go with 4 years old but don't stay for long
