Hasek had a playoff year as good as any year prior. he had a slow start to this season, but that is turning around. He will play top notch NHL hockey for another seven seasons.
Look at the pressure he played under as a rookie with nobody on his team worth noting except Rick Nash. Im not saying that he's the best to play right now, but I believe that he has what it takes to end his career with some broken records. Look how consistent he was as a rookie...

For the record, Hasek's career save percentage is an outstanding .922 (higher than Brodeur [.913] or Roy [.913], for example). Part of his technique, or effectiveness, is in his generally unpredictability. Whatever you call it, it's very effective. I don't see how this is a any kind of black eye.

I only brought up save % in response to you. In fact, his career percentage is higher than anyone currently playing and anyone I could find on a quick look at some past stars. And for the record, his teams in Buffalo were very ordinary. I doubt any goalie would have won a cup with that team.

I didn't seek out every comment you made except this one, but stating "he has no idea what he is doing" and that he is simply flopping or getting lucky. Six Vezina trophies, two Hart Trophies, and single handedly winning an Olympic gold goes far beyond the realm of just flopping or getting lucky.

Ed Belfour Eventually Brodeur will be up there, but I don't think he's that good because he is always on either the best team in the league or at least he has good defense and plenty of goals on the other end for him. Put any of these goalies on the Devils for their whole carrer and lets see what their stats would be.

Well i see it as a black eye because it doesnt take anything special to flop around and get hit with the puck or to make in most cases would be a routine save for most goalies hesuck makes it look like a train wreck.And how many cups does Hesuck have? 1 the last i counted and he had to get it with a stacked Detroit team that hardly gave up any shots.Numbers dont matter if you dont get the job done which i think Roy and Brodeur have more then once on a not so stacked team and stopping alot more!
I think Hasek is just a huge black eye for the NHL but like most crappy goalies the better the player the harder a time they have to score on them because they cant anticipate an idiot flopping and you also have the fact that NHL players dont have all day to shoot the puck so that works in Hesucks favor.he is just a lame goalie that makes everything look difficult and his GAA is low but His Save% is probably crap.He mabe gets 20 shots on a tough night for him
Hasek Sucks!! No sense on learning how to be a goalie when you can just flop around and stare at the rafters and hope the puck hits you, it seems to keep alot of people who dont play entertained.
Hasek is not a good goalie alls he does is flop and roll he doesnt have a style you can class because there is no class for the crap he does that you call good goaltending.if i watch a pro athelete in any sport i wanna see someone who makes a tough job look easy not someone who makes easy things look like a train wreck.He in my opinion is terrible any goalie on a pond can flop and roll around like he does he is a black eye for goalies in the NHL to all the guys who work hard and then Hasek

Martin B. is playing in NHL fro his 18-19. Hasek started playing NHL and he was older goalie! Marty is great goalie, but Hasek is #1!
