Quick video with tips, info and review of java moss/aka Christmas moss. please feel free to leave questions and comments. Also don't forget to subscribe and like our videos.
That’s the problem with the internet not everyone should have a voice of their opinion. I’ve watched a ton of aquatics videos and man o man! More power to you. I watched and gave a view so…
i bought a bag of java moss, christmas moss and flame moss and i glued it to my piece of wood and to some rocks in the tank and its grown quite a bit in the 1-2 months ive had it. it was all mixed together so i couldnt really sort it out so im hoping when it grows more i can trim the different types and seperate it! i have noticed some hair algae and black beard algae growing on it.
I did some rearranging in my tank and put my java moss close to my filter and have dust particles floating around. Since then I have moved it back away form filter and was wondering will it eventually settle/filter off or should I do something else to help process?
J in Spanish is pronounced as an H. Maybe that was his reason. My concern is the super glue. I'm so new to aquariums. Can you put super glue in an aquarium with fish?? I just hava know!!
Aquascapers also even use the thin super glue.. But, if there are gaps to fill (as with joining irregular stones together..), you can use toilet paper to fill the gap. Then, let the glue soak into the paper.. It will quickly harden. Watch some aquascaping vids.
I bought Java Moss and put it in 4 or 5 tanks and within days 1 tank had Black Beard Algae and the rest had Green Hair algae. Threw it away except some that stuck. Still fighting even after destroying a large Amazon Sword plant killing the Black Beard Algae.🤯
I think so! I had four or more zebra snails in the tank, unfortunately They never hatched:/ The other snails however did lay egg sacs that hatched. Take a look at those other videos And don't forget to LIKE/SUBSCRIBE!! I have a new video coming out this week. Thanks
it look like you had it tied where it would just float at the start of the video which I thought was pretty cool to do. I have some super glue I was thinking of using to glue some on the walls of my 110 gal stock tank which I think will be pretty cool to do & I have some fake branch stems from fake plants I had bought I could glue some to.
Java moss is pretty!! I'll pretend you didn't say that, it's a terrible weed! Only thing it's good for is raising baby fry ..... But your a great salesman...lol
On another vid, the duse said use Flourish Potassium product for browning plants.. Otherwise, this plant takes light or dark... Cooler water to 82. And a wide PH range. Some say it is hard to kill. (if your tank is newly set up - or established -, do your water tests.
First of all, I don’t agree with everything that was said in this video just because java moss is not a fast growing plant but the guy said that it is. I have respect for this person and he has the right to say what he wants, but... It’s obvious that this guy has not done enough research cause everyone says java moss not hava moss🤣
Thanks for the helpful Java Moss video but It is not a Spanish word and the J is pronounced. This Moss takes forever to grow but brings so little at our actions.I'd rather give it away.
I don't have anything against the content, it's valuable material. I'm just commenting on the filming technique as there might be people who have sensitivity to turbulent visuals or are epilepsy prone that are susceptible to these kind of videos. I was honestly physically sick when I watched this and couldn't finish it.
Just to let you know the J is pronounce with the J sound, and NOT with a H sound. It's Java, NOT Hava.
I do believe you are correct :) its Java not Hava...
I cannot for the life of me take this video seriously due to him saying hava moss.
Same

If you can get past the Hava thing, the info isn't Jalf bad..
Good and helpful information. So what how it is pronounced. That’s all you have to say after all the time that went into making this video?
@@SusanSchlengerSS this is an underappreciated comment😆
hava moss.

As long as it’s a super glue gel which contains cyanocrylate . Somehow the bond becomes strong and glue becomes enert when moist or placed in water.

The moss itself does Not Cause algae problems..
It may have been carrying algaes that unfortunately were very happy to take off in your tanks.
Hava moss?? Not every J is pronounced H..
Some languages really pronounce J as H, well it doesn't matter as its the same plant just different pronunciation : )
thanks for the tips tho.
Java moss the J is pronounced it's not hava moss haha what the hell is Hava moss?? Lol
I’m gonna travel to hapan soon I love asian chicks
Jalehujah .
@Tanked Up. oh I completely understand. My boss is named Rick and he's pissed that I just can't seem to get his name right at all.
At 3:16 are those Zebra Nerite eggs ?

They won't hatch I have tons of them in my tanks and they are annoying. They need very specific water conditions to do anything

GOOD in the hood guppies to get a wall, spread it over some plastic mesh and use thread to tie it to the mesh
@@lebeaubastion yeah I've seen that done too it's pretty cool looking.

I thought he was saying hover moss.
it's the only plant i can't grow , within one week it's totally matted with algea .
Same I've finally got mine to live looks same when I bought it 6 months ago
Try adding a couple ghost shrimp in it. I heard that helps... but I’ve never grown it before
Cut down your light time, and put it at the bottom of your tank.
Hope that helps.
@Bella Donna change time light...make a little brake on program at 4 hours
h a v a m o s s
My java has silver-brown tips alllllllll over, what is that. is it dying
Cory Summers mines did at first but it’s all green now
hava moss FTW
Guys stop harassing him, I’m all Americans and I can’t pronounce th at the end of words
In California and in Mexico J’s are pronounced like H
Frog Lilly or duck weed
Why java moss turns to brown?
because did not buy hava moss
On another vid, the duse said use Flourish Potassium product for browning plants..

Please don't call it the hava moss..

amerikkkans...
I hate it. I glued mined to a rich and it was growing and some of the parts came off and it was all over my tank. Too messy for me.
WTF is hava moss. LOL
hava moss. makes me cringe really. idk why.
If you know someone with names like jose, Juan or Javier you will understand
FullmoonEffects89 I have plenty of friend and family members with those names ( I’m Mexican) and we say Java not Hava moss 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
It’s not pronounced Hava moss! I
use only aqaurium friendly glue. super glue is toxic
zio ledeux
Actually no. Superhlue is safe for aquarium use because it's very stable and doesn't react with water. It's probably the same formula.
I use super glue all the time without problem. The gel type works best
I wouldn't trust it.
Will surgical thread work the kind that dissolves in a couple weeks? I think that's used in the mouth so they don't have to pull out stiches.
Nice fish but yr tank is so messy and ugly 😊!
The lighting, zooming and the focus is horrible it made me physically sick while watching it... Had to stop watching so I didn't throw up.
