      Do not crank the keys up all the way till the bolts touching the crossmember…. Especially stock keys i have learned this the hard way i had my upper control arms bottoming out on my sway bar links for awhile even if it did make it sit higher in the front…. I havent messed with aftermarket lift keys so i cant say much about them but id think they would do the same without other mods helping

    I would like to see how you handle the steering column , brake lines, front and back .And the shifting ensemble? I know the shroud needs to be redesigned.

    • @outlaw4972
      @outlaw4972 Před 2 lety

      Idk if y'all still tryna figure it out but I did a 3 inch body lift on my 96 OBS 2 years ago. And you don't gotta worry about break lines. It doesn't affect them at all. It lifts the body of the truck. So the suspension pretty much stays stock. The shift linkage wasn't even a concern neither. But I had to remove the driver's seat to release this clip that holds the shifter cable so it gets more slack. If not it'll feel hard to shift it into drive.

Because i got the miunts in the rears and front but i also have mounts right behind the front wheels and i have 3 inch lift block on one side and on the other im missing it but its not leaning or anything? I like that the driving shaft sticks out I wonder if I could spray paint it red, it's a concrete princess due to fucking up the rear dyf, so the only thing getting on it is dust.

    So I've looked at this video about 6 times. In thay box that came with the new blocks bolts and washers and such. There was a few brackets to get rid of the gap for the rear bumper. What about the front bumper and the four metal blocks. Where did those end up going? There are a couple smaller nylon lift blocks where did those also go? There are plenty of people that ask these same questions.
