makes me miss hk so much, wish can visit there again when the covid situation is over.
Hope you will have a chance to William. Which part of Hong Kong is your favourite?
same
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV trick question, every part is our favorite
@@sac4i 😊 glad you know the "right" answer 😂
this is not a situatión this is the shadow of the apocalipse2024
I rented in TST for a month back in 2019, it was the best moment of my life. Your video bring back so much good memories !
Quite the large shopping district! Shops anywhere and everywhere wow 😃
Yeah it is one of the go to places in Hong Kong. Although I wonder how the retail scene is like in that area now.
Great.. Thank you.
Thanks for the long walk
excellent video walk; so many lovely colourful toys n stuff 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Haha. It was pretty cramp walking though the night market. I don't think I would have bought anything but enjoyed the walk for the experience. =D
You took me back to that amazing market, BRAVA 👏👏👏
Glad to have a chance to "show" you around 😁
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV 👍👍👍
I like from 尖沙咀 to Mong kok by walk!
雨の日の香港、初めて見ました!
Glad you enjoyed it 😄 Do you regularly visit Hong Kong?
just imagine how sweaty and humid it would be
I'm missing Hong Kong . We must return for a holiday one more time . Such a special place. We always stay in the Dorset Hotel . Mong Kok Kowloon is such a interesting location. Tai O is also a great place to relax and spend time . Thanks for making me homesick from a place I wasn't born in . Just kidding but very true . Good video .
Glad to have provided some memories 😊
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV memories that will never leave. I want my grandchildren to experience Hong Kong even though it's sad to say changing fast and maybe not for the better . I was there before 1997 and if I'm visiting, Asia Hong Kong is my favorite stop over .
You are so amazing!!!
Thanks Prince 🙏 Always glad to see you here. Will be filming in Singapore soon so hope you will still support me then 😂🇸🇬
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV always here for you..
@@princeafriqa6917 Really appreciate your support =D
I miss Hong-Kong
Excelent night view😊
Sometimes I was thinking, that it's like New York 😊
Very beautiful 😊
I haven't been to NY before so I can't say, but parts of its nightlife reminds me of Tokyo. Another exciting city to visit at night 😄
Please make video of Tokyo in the future.and pls don't forget marina bay sand in Singapore. you promise to take us there
@@princeafriqa6917 I will =) I haven't forgotten. just need to make time to film there.
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV This is almost like a mashup of Chinatown and Times Square. Tremendous crowd density combined with tall buildings. When you walk down the street with the angled high-rise at its end at 20:44, it even recalls Chatham Square in Chinatown for me. As a New Yorker, I actually prefer places like this to Midtown. It feels like it's still for the common man, not for the rich or primarily for tourists.
@@amightysailingman Glad to hear from you Phantom. Thanks for commenting on this. You made me watch the video again 😄 Its nice to remember what Hong Kong was like 1 year ago
wow
Wow hong kong👍
Yeah its an atmospheric place. Exactly like how I saw it in the HK movies
This Is chinese new york
Best in Asia!#
It's certainly a memorable place to visit 😁
Places like this can be many. If the specific locations are mentioned, this video would be much more interesting.
Thanks for the good feedback Jon. I would like to but I'm a tourist in Hong Kong and won't be able to accurately give correct background information. When filming I just walk towards whatever interesting events are happening. In my latest videos of Singapore I put time stamps so people can have some context of where the location is
He's pretty much just wondered around the popular district of Mong Kok (Train station with same name). It's just a block of shops, eateries, markets with great atmosphere and everything is open till around 10pm. The market is called Ladies Market, you can bargain up to 50% but then you can get the same thing at the Sham Shui Po markets for the already discounted price haha
@@Rogapol Thanks for sharing additional information on Mong Kok 😄 Miss Hong Kong
If I start my visiting to Ladies Market at 10PM, will it be too late? Usually what time the market close?
Yeah it's too late. The few stalls start to close at 10pm
How did you record this video without letting people know you were recording?
Not an easy question to answer. Most of the time people are aware they are being filmed. The idea is to act as normal as possible and don't focus the lens on an individual. Just filmed a snapshot or moment in time of the place/venue/group and move on 😉
what equipment you used? smartphone/digital recorder? thank you
Glad to hear from you Att. I used a Osmo Pocket
Discovery Walking Tours TV .... thank you
@@TheAtt4569 Glad to help =)
Pls upload more vids, ya... thank you!!
@@TheAtt4569 😂 thanks for that. Made me happy to hear it from you. I will do my best. August will slow down for a bit as I will be traveling. Hopefully some of my past videos might interest you. More to come once I am back home end of next month
26:39 David Beckham..hehehe
那是昔日的光景,现在的香港........唉!
We can only try to remember the good things about Hong Kong from way back.
apparently this place is like **4.5x** the population density of Manhattan!
This Is chinese new York!
Your in mong kok
Wish I was back there in those times 😂😉
Lamo I live in yau mai tei
1:48 she is stealing
Looks suspicious. But I wonder if its her own stuff?
You're assuming a lot from a momentary glimpse. May well have been she already paid for it and was packing it away.
