- You will love all these woodworking jigs that will help to get the most of the jigsaw. A jigsaw is a very versatile woodworking and DIY tool, but in the other hand it does not always make precise and clean cuts in wood. But with these jigs and tricks we can make clean cuts, perfect wooden circles, we get rid of that common problem when the jigsaw blade bends vertically, and we can also make perfect 45 degrees miter cuts and even nice chamfers.

I have never seen anyone using jigsaw with a jig. Thanks for sharing this valuable tips.
The chamfered edge at the end was BRILLIANT! Thanks so much. :)
I agree I have never seen a cut so good with a jigsaw..
It was really amazing when I realized that the cut was so nice :)
I must agree with you đđđđ
That's impressive, who would have thought you could get such precision from a Jigsaw! đđœ
Well, I thought hmmm, this woodworking tool sure can do better đ
I CAN'T SPEAK FOR ANYONE ELSE, BUT I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN SUCH CLEAN OR PRECISE RESULTS WITH A JIGSAW! LOOKING FORWARD TO MAKING THESE JIGS,AND THESE RESULTS TOO. TYVM!

LOL, just trying to show the things I make in my small shop
This is great, now I get back to cutting wood. Thanks
Great expansion of the 'normally' boring yet effective jigsaw.
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Think I might make the Zero clearance and 45 jigs myself
And it's basically just a jig saw !!! I like this! :D
Your best video yet!! Wonderful ideas!
Nice and not complicated, thanks
Jig number 4 is genius!
I once made a jig to cut the bottom off a new door. The front of the cut was perfect. A nasty shock when I looked at the other side - The bottom of the cut was all over the place as the blade flexed back and forward so much - it scrapped the door.
Supporting the blade with bearings to keep the blade vertical is an excellent idea.
put another sheet of wood under what you want to cut firmly so it "absorbs" the splinders and protect your edge
@@chrisdeli7547 - It my case it wasn't splinters.... the door was about 1 1/2 thick. The blade was flexing about and following the grain, so whilst it was nice and straight on top - where my saw was following the jig and I could see it cutting a nice straight line - underneath the blade was wandering side to side by well over 1/4 inch each way in some places, making the door scrap, as cutting off enough to leave the bottom straight would have left a big gap under the door :-o The amount a blade can flex side to side in a jig saw is quite scary!
@@SAHBfan if it is real wood and not mdf or something "uniform" you need thick and wide blade otherwise.... you know
@@chrisdeli7547 - yep, I've learned that... the hard way :(
This video should have 1M+ views, thanks for the incredible tips jigs and demos!
I agree with you đ. Thank you very much Danny đ
I like the idea of putting a shoe under the jigsaw for a nicer cut . The circle looks good but you'd have to do it upside down to avoid screw holes in the face of the wood .
I have bought quality jigsaws and never got such a neat cut, blade wander is always such a nightmare...
I think I already did :)
Excellent tutorial. Thank you.
Excellent videos! đđđ
Awesome video đđ»đđ»

Superb , fantastic,, practical absolute genius with the jigsaw,,,
Good video. Nice tips for using the jigsaw. I must say, the jigsaw has never been a go-to tool for me because of the poor quality of the cut. You've made that aspect a nonissue so I just might have to revisit the jigsaw using your techniques. Well done sir.

:) Once I made something similar, but in my jigsaw table
Very impressive. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely amazing ideas & excellent filming angles & verbal explanations. Thank you for inspiring me to try your techniques. đ
That is genius!
Brilliant.
This is great! I love this! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you. And thanks for watching
Magnificent
Setting the chamfer jig to cut the under side rather than to top side will mean that all your marking out and screw holes will be on the bottom. The top will have no blemishes what so ever. Now going out to make your jigs, thank you.
I want that circle to make a small table. The center mark and the bevel will be both in the bottom part :)
Very impressive
Really nice !!
Very resourceful. :)
Very good Dude đ
Very clever. I'll definitely be trying out your ideas. First video of yours I've watched and I'm looking forward to watching more. Thank you.
Thank you very much Mark
Genius level stuff.
loved that
Very nice
Better to ordered idea
thank you this is awesome
i dont have space for a table sadly
thats why the jig you made is great idea for me because it kinda works as a portable table ...
1 issue tho
imagine if you wanted to cut something longer (wider) than this, then the left side of the jig will be problem, can you make it so it is easily rotated to other side ?
Leonardo da vinci of power tools in 21 century đ
All good stuff, only one other improvement i would recommend is get a battery powered saw, so much more freedom and it makes the job so much easier :-)
I always forget to recharge the batteries that I already have (the two cordless drill that I have) :D
MERCI
Can you please make a video about cutting pizza board from hard wood without making a mark in the centre?
Just cut it upside down :)
Re Jig 4, is there a reason you have the bearings at the full extent of the blade. I mean it looks like its designed to cut 4 inch deep timber. Can you have the depth set to say 30mm so that it is suitable for most sheet material. It would make the bearings sit well up the blade length. Would that still work ?
Nice. I know this tool as a saber saw throughout my life however. An actual jig saw is a stationary bench tool.
What can I say? That's how I learned to distinguish them.
Having bought, what I thought was a much âbetterâ Jigsaw, I was still finding many problems getting straight and vertical cuts!
It has stayed in its box for months, as I couldnât get the cuts I neededđŹ
Your brilliant video has given me much more confidence when I next come to use it!
Thank you!
Yes, jigsaw cuts can be ugly very often. But I am getting good results with my jigsaw jigs :)
Jefazo!
WAOOO!!
