      Duh. He's a daemon-primarch
However, Kharn has one edge on Angron...hes mortal. It takes a mortal to be a champion of a ruinous power, but like in a straight 1-1 combat. Angron would demolish Kharn.
I'll tell you one thing tho. I prefer Kharn

Oh, he would. No question. In one of the Heresy novels, Kharn gets lippy with Angron over something. I think Kharn was running out of patience with how out of control Angron was. Anyway, Angron takes exception to his gene son's cheek and proceeds to slap Kharn about a bit -- you know, to knock some sense into him -- and Kharn's being held up against a wall with Angron's hands wrapped around Kharn's throat, not too unlike the scene of Homer Simpson throttling Bart -- "why you little..!"
Kharn thinks "sod this for a game of chess", pulls his plasma pistol and shoots Angron in the face with it at point-blank range. All this does is pisses Angron off even more, resulting in a huge roar followed by a backhander that sends Kharn sprawling on the floor.
Just as Angron is about to murder his geneson, Kharn manages to say something that makes its way through Angrons red mist, bringing the smackdown to an end. A crafty smirk and a low chuckle from Angron makes it all too clear to Kharn how lucky he was to survive such an encounter...

Fun 40k fact: Doombreed is actually the first one that achieved daemonhood due to the Khorne's will because he used to be a warlord on old earth around 1st-2nd millenium, and grew stronger after each kill and is still alive in the 42nd millenium, in my opinion he can easily kick Angron's ass as doombreed is from the era of old earth while angron became a daemon prince in the shadow crusade era

    • @blacksabbath5300
      @blacksabbath5300 Před 7 měsíci +1

That isn’t the whole story though. Angron started off as a primarch. Primarchs are immediately stronger than greater demons in most cases, including angron. Espeacially angron. In one on one angron was one of the biggest power houses of them. And then he ascended with the binding of none other than the red fucking angel. He was beating down on LION EL FUCKING JOHNSON Yknow one of the only guys to be a good match with sanguinius? Who defeated kabandha? Only reason he lost was the emperors shield and lion using hit and run tactics. One of the strongest primarchs fused with one of the strongest demons. And doombreed has 40k years of experience, yeah, but angron has 10k as well. Angron claps

Angron is on a level of his own. He's a Demon Primarch. And he's completely immortal. And he's beaten Kharn near to death before and after they turned though it was because he felt like Kharn would try to usurp him even tho Kharn is the biggest simp of maybe all the Astartes are for their daddies.

    🔴❤️
Which alternate Heresy Angron is better?
In the sense is it better Angron who is healed from the butcher's nails or Angron who never had the butcher's nails (example Blood Angels)?
He who looks like a barbarian gladiator but is actually a rock of discipline and valor worthy for the World Eaters (and the Emperor)?
(The Crimson Slaughter certainly doesn't need butcher's nails to create an ocean of blood)
With his warriors, then finally with his sons, Angron manages to liberate the world of Nuceria and become its ruler.
It would be clearer to say that: Angron is saved and raised by the village of the city of Desh'ea and then sells himself as a gladiator planning its conquest and liberation, neither he nor Oenomaus receive the butcher's nails but they are still forced to fight with Angron who gives an honorable death to his dear mentor, then (recruiting more villagers and soldiers over time) in the last battle the Emperor decides to send the World Eaters to defend Angron and his gladiators (recognizing potential new forces for his XII Legion) and subsequently, with all medical science, heal the heads of the surviving men.
A good example is Vladus Barca himself (practically the loyalist version of Angron).
And the World Eaters choose to repaint parts of themselves red to honor the title (and above all the sacrifice) of their father: the Lord of the Red Sands.
Precisely as an example the Blood Angels, since the World Eaters of Angron do not suffer from the butcher's nails they still suffer from a kind of mental torment, the Blood Voice, which forces the most affected to shed enormous blood in order to gain some respite (of course the Librarians, using the Primarch's empathic psychic power, try their best to heal everyone).
Angron also lived alongside ferocious predators, the wild Wolves of Nuceria (hard-skinned beasts), before being taken by the people of the village.
And just like the Iron Hands with the Bulls of Medusa, the Dark Angels with the Lions of Caliban and the Space Wolves with the Wolves of Fenris, the World Eaters learn to build a bond with the creatures of their home planet.
    Another good possibility is this!
Oenomaus had already freed Desh'ea and ruled House Thal'kyr, then after hearing about the boy named Angron, raised first by wolves and then by villagers, he decides to recruit him among his gladiators, seeing him as their hope.
Angron thus grows well becoming a just adult, in a reborn city with a large army of strong warriors, successfully leading his valiant soldiers (and many others thanks to his empathic psychic power), with the title Lord of the Red Sands, against the tyrants (witnessing the tragic but honorable death of his father figure in the last battle), ultimately becoming the Gladiator King, powerful ruler of all Nuceria.
Some time after the planet's pacification Angron meets the Emperor, this time voluntarily embracing his place as son, Primarch and father of the XII Legion of War Wolves (World Eaters), officially making Nuceria their homeworld.
Or maybe even this: all the cities of Nuceria are already free and governed by several Gladiator Kings (the bloody slavery just a bad memory), who over time see the rise of the wolf Angron Thal'kyr as a sign of a worthy ruler (and future worthy Primarch)!
(A soul like that of Sanguinius)

      Khorne Magic: Metal (Iron=Blood)!
Perturabo the Demon Primarch of Khorne and his Iron Warriors: just like living armor leaking hot iron generated by their own boiling blood!
(And most terrifyingly, despite their rage their minds are intact)
According to logic, how would Perturabo seal his pact with Khorne, destroying first Monarchia and then Olympia?
Can he become a master of destructive Metal Magic, then creating bloodthirsty Sorcerers of Khorne in his army?
Perfect example is the magic of Azariah Kyras as the Daemon Prince of Khorne!
Not Kharn but Kroeger the Betrayer!

      🔥
Loyalist Angron vs Daemon Primarch Perturabo.
"You think I am weak...but you have grown weaker Perturabo. I have remade my strength, while you have sold yours out of dispair. You are weak. You are a slave. You where born a slave, and a slave you will remain. Your strength flees. It does not belong to you. It is your master's, and the chain that keeps you throttles you. The threads of blood are thinning, the meal of slaughter will only keep you here long enough, to watch your bastard sons die."

Kossolax kills like half those characters in the last novel and lives. He even defeats Shaka bloodless 1v1 (by cheating) making him prob the most deadly world water which even Angron admits. Kharn is very powerful in storyline and pretty wicked eternal blood curse but he is not in control of that making him not as powerful as driven world eater lords.
