Great job to the tour guide who saved the lives of his teammates. That trip would have been a tragic event if not for his experience and quick thinking.
Great job? The trickle was a warning of a massive land slide. The people should have moved a safe distance away minutes before the slide not MOMENTS.

An F4 tornado missed my house by 1/2 a mile... saw it coming out the back window. You'll never forget how strong nature really is after seeing something like that.
Damm
WHAT
We were travelling and on the road when we encountered an f4. The trees were laying parallel to the ground and the clouds were vertical sheets running from tge ground to the sky, and, Omg it did sound like a freight train. We were able to skirt the eye but damn, that was wild!
Same here. I had an experience with an F4 here in OK. In my opinion they are living thinking things. It’s something how they seem to pick and choose what they destroy and what they spare. Our house had minimal damage yet the houses on both sides of me and the one behind me was completely demolished.m
Ive forgotten already... sorry
I always enjoy your videos and the way you narrate them. Thanks for posting.

The first time I went overseas, in 1976, I flew over Java at night. I could see huge spots of what I thought, being an Aussie, were bushfires. We were over 30,000 feet up. The fires were a chain of active volcanoes.

Stromboli…Wow! There are other active volcanos, too, throughout Italy. Naples is actually built over several caldrons that surround the bigger volcano. Scary! The video of the Stromboli blow was amazing in that the camera kept recording! Thank you for this!

I've heard that sound.....a steel bridge in Harrisburg, PA was taken OUT by a huge buildup of ice. We had a LOT of snow, and when it melted....a bunch of ice flows hit it, the last one took it out. We could hear it from blocks away. Like a huge, slow, car crash with no glass.
czcams.com/video/6DxG9yOS1dQ/video.html Here it is.
And it was a wonder Agnes of 1972 didn't take the whole bridge out. czcams.com/video/_bLGOCkps9c/video.html
These disasters cause lots of stress and financial loss to individuals and the municipalities where they live. Occasionally in Canada, we use dynamite to unblock rivers/streams where the ice can cause flooding and damage to bridges. All part of living up north.

When Mother Nature is going through "that time of the month"...........you gotta just let her have her way and don't get IN her way.
Wow, that must have been a scary experience. Nature can be so powerful and unpredictable. It's important to be prepared for the unexpected and stay safe during natural disasters. 🌪🌊🌋
Staying safe is for the timid, & weak. You can keep all your nerdy “preparations.” Lol you don’t need any preparations… it’s a natural disaster, not the apocalypse. 10:49 I know it'd be certain death but riding around at the tip of that crane would be a wild time.
My sister was there for the Yellowstone flooding as National Park Service summer employees. She spent her time moving people around by bus getting people out of the flood areas.
I don’t think she spent her time helping people at all. I think she used the bus to escape the flood & save her own @ss. Then went back to steal peoples personal belongings, and to rummage through their purses or wallets searching for cash/credit cards, while they were trapped in other rooms by the flood

Whoa, it seems like a terrifying experience. Nature has the ability to be so strong and erratic. It is critical to keep safe amid natural catastrophes and to be ready for the unexpected in natural disasters
For me as a South African, luckilly we dont really have these horrific natural disasters happening. I've been following all these nature phenomenon taking place for about 2 to 3 months? Im shockef as well as amased by all these nature disasters happening suddenly at a terrible speed, it's just as if nature turned just chaotic and said enough. It just shows you how powerful nature really can get. I feel it must be treated with respect and not destroyed by reckless actions to plan some glorious estate development again. I mean how many do humankind want, before they really are satisfied with their selfish needs and for what? Just to boast saying "Im living in this scarse forest" thats sacred or something beautiful, that should be left alone in peace. But nooo, humankind wont be ever satisfied until every beautiful, gift from God's priceless creation is destroyed beyond repair.
Toyally agree.
Humans need to be wiped out .

There was a flood recently no?
Not really that I know of, if it happens, it's not shown on social media like these occurrences. The town I'm living in, I'm new too, perhaps this year we have flooding I dunno, with these chaotic weather situations. Anything is possible 😊

If you want to look at storms, then trace back Cyclone Gabrielle to where she started & follow the damage. She decimated a huge area in the Hawkes Bay that may never recover as the mud & debris got as high as a two story house in some cases. It's simply heartbreaking what's been lost.

@@brendacolmore6940 I'm so sorry to hear that, I hope you wernt to badly affected. I've cried so much over what has happened both there & to a lesser extent other parts of the country. I was born & bred in Aucks & parts of my childhood have gone with the damage to West Coast beaches but I was more upset over the deaths of the firemen & for the first time I was left speechless & stunned over what happened in the Esk Valley, Wairoa & other places, I couldnt believe the desolation & utter wall to wall & seemingly sky high sludge encased area was the same Esk Valley I spent so much time in both when I stayed there & lived in Taradale. Some parts of me want to go up to see it for myself as I'm finding it so hard to grasp it but others are saying no. What I would really like to do is find out if the smaller communities need anything & put packages together & take them up.

Is it possible to remove the cranes above under construction buildings before a storm hit? Leaving it above seems like asking to topple.

Isn't a major Italian city built in the crater lake of one of the mega volcanoes? 😊❤
That bridge opened that house roof like a can opener.
I lived through the Nashville flood of 2010. I cannot forget watching Lighthouse Baptist Church’s preschool trailer float down 1-24 around 1:00PM on a Saturday afternoon. Shocking when it is your area being impacted by a severe storm.
Yes but when it’s not you’re area it’s pretty entertaining. Seeing helpless folks scramble around in a panic only to succumb to the flood in the end is a lot like watching an intense scene from an action movie 😁

most of the places where the floods happen is because they have closed so many rivers with their big dams that make electricity, where large landslides mostly occur is because they have cut down so many forests that normally support that land. so in most places something like this happens is their own fault.

Although it sounds like science fiction, weather machines are in action around the world already, influencing factors such as rainfall, storm severity and snowpack. Most of these rely on cloud seedingtechniques that force clouds to rain. For example, China is investing heavily in large projects to ensure sufficient agricultural water supply.
