Just a tip when raising baby peafowl. 1) they CAN FLY REALLY WELL almost instantly after hatching !!

I have two female peacocks. Just bought eggs off eBay in hopes for a male. I have the same incubator as you. I bought a laser printed peacock turner insert for the nuture right. Working great. Fingers crossed for a pea chick!

Oh wow this video had all kinds of ups and downs of emotions. I hope the little duck starts thriving and that beautiful peacock 🦚 doesn't bully him anymore. I can't wait to see it grow. The best part of the video was Houston's reactions during candling. It broke my heart to see him sad about the baby duck though. 😢

The baby peacock is so cute! The next day when you came in he was so much stronger, and he was standing up, and you took the lid off it was like he was thinking, Hey where am I, and who are you! I was so hoping something else would hatch so that he would have a friend, and not be all alone! Thank you for sharing this, it's one of the best things ever to see a peacock hatch! I've seen all kinds of other birds hatch on the farms, but this is the first peacock! I especially love that you did it behind the scenes week-by-week by yourselves, and then you let us see it hatched, instead of making us go day-by-day through 28 days with you! 💗💕💗

I had a son-in-law who raised them. He was a geneticist, he had 21 different varieties and loved to breed different colors. Sadly he died in a car accident. My daughter after a few years sold them off as it was hard to take care of them and when she wanted to go on trips trying to find someone to feed them while she was gone was difficult. Enjoy your new peafowl hope they all hatch.
I can see them moving inside the eggs. My Dad raised chickens and yes, those eggs are fertile. He would put his eggs in an incubator in the garage and we would watch them when they would start hatching. It was amazing to watch.
That is amazing! Very interesting video! They say you’re not supposed to open it in the 24 hours after they start hatching in the incubator!
Yes it makes the humidity drop and shrink wraps them and they can’t get out.

I absolutely love these videos because we her to see lives grow and the process it takes to know if they're fertile and to see them when they do hatch is special 🤗🤗. I felt so bad for Houston cause he was so sad about the baby duck and the other eggs hatched 😔. But that's life and a great lesson for him to learn early on. God bless you all 🙏🙏

I love Houstons excitement on the eggs. I'm on round 2 with my incubator round 1 was a failure all 4 duck eggs were infertile now I have 2 chickens and 2 bantam eggs so we shall see. Thank you for another great video

Watching the duck egg is sooo cool! Congratulations, Houston.
Dutch had a little problem with Bobby going on a 3/4 mile walk-about last week. Come to find out, he was in search of female companionship and now has to be kept in a closed pen.
.Mating season starts around February when the peacock tail feathers are grown out. The eggs appear 15-30 days after mating. Peachicks sometimes hatch as early as April or May and as late as August.
