i love rise against so much, i wish they were part of the mainstream so that more people would listen to them. all their songs just speak to me in a way that no other band does, both in terms of lyrics and the amazing sound
there isn't a time I don't think of this song, and think of the nights me and 4 of some of my closest friends staying up "while the whole world is asleep, we we're awake" talking about this corrupt world filled with drama, media, and politics, and how we would always have each other to the end because "there in the dark we we're safe from judgment, now arm in arm, locked tight" and we stayed huddled around the bond fire.... just talking... some of the best nights of my life..

While listening this song, im writing a book. This is the moment, when one (side character) stand in front of several hella strong enemies, and nuke them to the ground, all alone.I wana create that moment, when noone even expect it. That this person is THAT strong comare to main characters, and "evil" characters. Everyone are shocked, of how he is able to handle several so strong monsters, all alone...

I've seen Rise Against live about 7 times. The first time, in 2004, I didn't know who they were. The first song I heard from them was 1000 good intentions and from then on I was hooked. Warped tour 06 in south Jersey was the best of their shows I've been to this far. Just effing epic.

I think it's 'revel in confusion,' rather than 'rebel in confusion.' Since rebel as a verb tends to sound more like 'ree-bell' instead of 'reh-bl' which is as a noun.

This song doesnt have as powerful of a chorus as the rest of the songs; in satellite you can tell its the chorus because it completely changes. In this, you cant. That makes the message even stronger by difference, it makes it stand out by being uniform. Its incredible that Rise Against can do that. They are incredible.
And one final thing about it. Child you are Hell Bent. But Hell is not where were going, its where weve been. Best single line to convey the message of any song ever.
