- Charges were expected to follow a deadly situation on Saturday in Monroe County, where a suspected drunk driver drove through a children's birthday party. Two children were killed, and many other people were hurt.

Not releasing the name or a photo of the driver is very telling, this driver will probably never serve a day for murder.

Not just drunk and driving which was negligence to the max. She was driving at a high speed straight into a building well known to have had people within it. This 66 year old monster should spend the rest of her life in prison.

I’m sorry but it’s a damn shame that it wasn’t the driver that lost her life instead. She lived her life, she made her choices, the victims did nothing to deserve this. Shame on her, the DA and the police department for protecting her identity.

show us a picture of the driver already. you are doing more to protect her when she didn't care to protect anyone. something tells me she has lots of connections and wealth considering the demographics of the area. even minorities don't get this much time undisclosed.

@@lorietaylor4665 just one excuse is that they mistake the gas pedal,for,the brake. There have been so many instances where excuses were allowed for old people that I know would not have been accepted for younger people.
Stop tolerating alcohol. More dispensaries ... this has NEVER happened with weed. Yet there's a tavern on just about every corner in every town. As a taxi driver I witnessed 90% of people spilling out at closing times were rolling time bombs. Multiply that by 35 - 40 other bars and that's the reality. More victims of our stupid society as well.
We had a state patrol officer killed by a person high on weed. We need to make weed illegal unless it's for medicinal purposes
