    Pre facelift looks better inside and more practical.

    Just upgraded from a 2016 focus to the 2021 active. Love it

    I have one of these in the estate version and 155ps. The best I've had so far is 34mpg in normal mode but that's just driving local and no long journeys yet. I recently took four (large) people and four large suitcases and hand baggage to the airport. I was a bit concerned the 1 ltr turbo engine would struggle with the weight but it was no problem at all. I did notice it used the electric motor boost a bit more though. On the motorway it was quiet and relaxed and effortless. It felt like it a 2ltr engine up front. Quite impressive really for a 1 ltr engine.

    Picking up my Automatic 2023 Focus Estate
    1.0 EcoBoost Hybrid mHEV 155 ST-Line X in desert island blue tomorrow, so looking forward to see if its better than my MG HS 2022. Although going from a SUV to a hatchback estate will be pretty different, i look forward to going for a drive in it.

    Why is everyone testing the Active X versions and not the Titanium X? We only see reviews of ST Line X, but no TItanium X...

    Just use voice activation for changing the the temperature, works great and you can leave your hands on the steering wheel 🙂

      Does voice activation work for changing drive modes? Heard they've changed it so you have to scroll through the screen menu otherwise

    52mpg my 2012 1.0 Titanium X was getting 47.7mpg the other day I think I would get more out of it on a run

    Mate you need to increase the volume on your mic.

    I've a 2014 focus and get 51mpg, can't see how the hybrid is helping.

      It is not helping much in the fuel economy. I had a 2013 1.0 125hp and now a 2022 1.0 125hp, it has similar mpg but since the new has 18" instead of 16" on the old one, it is stil respectable. The extra help from the m.h. system gives a nice extra bit of torque in lower rpm's and the start stop is so smooth you do not notice it anymore.

      I can only dream of such fuel economy..... I have a 2014 Focus ST, my current average is 22.2mpg (mostly short journeys or just round town). I can get mid 30s for long journeys, but I dont do enough of them.
      I'm contemplating switching, but would miss the power of the ST

    Apparently the fuel consumption isn’t that great

    • @MrRobi10
      @MrRobi10 Před rokem +1

      It is, but you're speaking because you have some random numbers thrown to you. I have the 1.0 100hp version and I had 5.2 fuel consumption for 5000km.

      That depends on your driving if you typically do commute in London with the occasional booting thrown in when it’s quiet you won’t see that

      @@MrRobi10 what is your average speed of the 5000km

    • @MrRobi10
      @MrRobi10 Před rokem

      @@geovannirodrigues1218 average was 80km/h, but for you to make an idea: in the cities I had like 56km, sometimes 30 because there were some zones, in Germany when there was no limit I put the cruise control on 157km/h, and on the rest, 124-133 depending on the speed limits

      It isn't. I have a 2022 ST Line MHEV 125ps version and the best I've got out of it is 34 mpg. I'd love to know how Ford can quote 45mpg and more. I was shocked at how bad the fuel economy is to be honest.
