      Chuck just messing with him as usual. Everyone on the show knows Rudy couldn’t stop a prime Shaq because nobody could stop a prime Shaq. Kobe said it best, if Shaq was dedicated in the weight room and stopped eating cookies, he could have been the greatest player ever.

    • @Bigmojojo
      @Bigmojojo Před 2 lety +8

      @@skillethead15 no he would not have been the greatest ever because you couldn't rely on him in the final 2-5 minutes of the game. That was when Kobe took over. Sure there were times Shaq was hitting his free throws but you wouldn't bet the farm on him doing all the time. Shaq is already acknowledged as the most dominant player to ever play the game

      @@Bigmojojo ive watched his dominant
      2000 season. A focus shaq is unstoppable. He is doing things unprecedented at his time. You see how demoralized players when curry becomes unstoppable and sink those circus shots? The same thing with shaq, the difference is he is lifting three guys off the air and dunking on them. He maybe bad at those free throws but if he is your defensive assignment, there is not enough ice to put in your body to ease that soreness. Add to that he can defend really well too. Don should be in the same conversations as Luka and Ja right now as far as the future of the league. But he got a contract and decided to settle for good instead of great. Good gets you the fancy cars and lifestyle without the work of being great. He’s gonna regret not putting in the work to be a legend when he is forgotten about in 5 years.

      @@rogu3tharonin Yeah I've seen his play but I can also see the size difference and clear weight difference. Honestly only explanation I can think of is Rodman has the insane dude strength with his adrenaline pumping the entire game

      @@hittkid6312 It's not about "adrenaline" or the "motor" as people like to say, every generation has a couple of these high energy dudes. The difference about Rodman is his defensive awareness, the guy was a genius defender and rebounder. I don't know if he did on purpose or unconsciously, but somehow he knew how to set his center of gravity just right to hold Shaq in place, it's all about physiques, brute force is not enough. However, when Olajuwon matched with Rodman, there was strength and finesse involved, Rodman had no answer

    These young players need to listen to the older guys and play great basketball. KD and Chuck can go back and forth on social media, but I can see that they got great love for each other. Love y'all TNT crew.

    Mitchell is one of my favorite players to watch and thought he was good and still good. My only thing is is that he hasn’t necessarily upgraded his game and has been hanging around the same spectrum of his game for at least 3 years straight now. It’s time to really take his game to the next level.
