Normally, I'd always prefer V8 over V6. But in the case of the F-Type Jag, I'm going for the V6 or V6S. It actually sounds better than V8S and V8R to me.
These 2 cars were the ultimate decision when I bought my last car. Same mileage, same price, same power. I finally went for the Ftype. Both are really nice but the Jag is certainly more unique.
I have a V6 F type 2020 the sound it's good but with OPF it's a little bit low then this... Personally I like too much twice this sounds, there are soo good in live!!!

Der F Type ist gefühlt 10-20 % lauter und hat diese Pops beim rauf und runter schalten aber vom Klang ist der XE irgendwie mehr harmonischer… Der F type klingt mehr wie ein Nissan V6 und der XE klingt irgendwie ganz andres als hätte er seinen eigenen Charakter villt bisschen was von Porsche
Both sound great. I prefer the M2, it's deeper and not as raspy or farty as the Jag. Every casual in the comments saying the Jag is better, really just means the Jag is louder. Doesn't make it 'better'.
As a m2 owner, at high rev, F-type wins for sure

when a companies v6 sound better than their v8 you know its a good sounding engine.

Jag looks and sound for me but the bmw sounds nice but doesn't look as gorgeous as the f type .Two amazing cars
Different sounds. I prefer the F-type...it has an F1 howl the M2 lacks.....so at high RPM it is just more special. Under 4k they are equal.

N55 will go down as the best sounding straight 6 ever made.
That’s why I will always go for the normal M2. Not the competition. The sound of the N55 is less synthetic.

The best 6 cylinder is a Porsche 911 GT3 RS but Out of these 2 it's definitely and undoubtedly the Jaguar 🔥

An M2 is pretty boring and looks horrible. The F type is a masterpiece, I own one.
