I finally got this working! Naughty Modded Warfare missed out a crucial step though & that you HAVE to have a usb stick in the PS4 with the Goldhen file on it! I learnt this from following the "router video" he did 👍🏻

I have 3 questions
1) I have a C1 OLED on FW 6.3.3-442,, I was reading something on the root my TV github that said something about other root methods only lasting 1000 hours or something, so does the method in the video work to keep the TV rooted or will it become unrooted at some point?
2) can I use the TV to perform the jailbreak for lower jailbreakable PS4 FW's or does it only work for 11.00 FW?
3) do I need to use an Ethernet cable or can it be done over Wi-Fi, do you just need to connect the TV to the PS4 with the ethernet cable one time for setup or does it have to be connected all the time to perform the jailbreak?
(my TV is wall mounted and my system is in a built in the wall shelf and all cabled go through the attic and so really convenient to run CAT for this or have unsightly cables running from wall to wall)

Also a bit of a side note but I'm trying to update my PS4 Pro to firmware 11.00 for the new jailbreak but I took out the hard drive in it a couple of years ago and I'm now trying to reformat and reinstall the HDD but from what I've read online the error it's giving me ( CE-34788-0 ) needs me to update the complete system software file and not the firmware file.
I just wanted to know if I downloaded the file from the official Playstation website, will this other type of update file force it to update to the latest version past 11.00 or is it safe to install and only installs the files needed to run the HDD on the PS4 Pro?
Please help if you can as I can't find any information online telling me what will happen if I use this other type of PS4 update file as I don't want to update it and immediately lose access to jailbreaking it.

Does this one support the internet "proxy" the rasberry pi solution implemented? Basically transfers the wifi connection to the lan cable so the ps4 has access to the internet via the lan setup you're doing for the jailbreak anyways.

I saw this yesterday it was insane
you missed a step, after you have rooted and rebooted your tv when in the homebrew channel after activating ssh and block system updated you have to click on system reboot in the bottom left. It tells you there config changes require reboot to apply, thats why you were having trouble with ssh, Once you reboot you can use ssh any time
On the tv root github guide there was a section dedicated to blocking remote exploitation, could you elaborate on that as well?

I would be very interested in setting up hyperion with a better denser ARGB strip but how would you even do that?

in fact you need to keep the cable, because every time the ps4 is turned off or restarted you need to run the script again... that's why I gave instructions on how to run it at startup so every time you turn on the ps4 it will be unlocked immediately

Any solutions to the ps4 jailbreak when they turn off when exploit is run. Doesnt seem to make it past “sending ipcp configuration ACK” or “ scanning for corrupted object 0x000” turns off with the raspberry aswell
I have the same issue, they seem to ignore the problem, many users have reported this, i don't know why they don't want to acknowledge this. They should at least tell us that it doesn't work on all models at the moment. 👎
