  • Recorded direct from the Phones/Recording Out. No post EQ, reverb added in DAW.
Finally got around to doing another "proper" cover of a song I've been playing kinda half-baked/wrong for many years! This has to be one of the most emotive electric guitar instrumentals in history. I've come away with a newfound respect for Mr Satriani - not that he wasn't already one of the pioneering fathers of instrumental rock guitar!
Using the fantastic Ibanez Tim Henson (Polyphyia) signature THBB10.

Did you have any noise while playing in Brown channel? Mine has a lot of noise even with the gain at half value.

He’s using a looper and pedal board, so that isn’t all the amp.
I use mine when I play outside. This is hands down the best mini amp. In fact I would recommend this for new players as their practice amp.
I also have the Katana mkII, which I set to only 0.5 watts when practicing at home. I wouldn’t say the 7 watt mini sounds ‘as good’ but I would say if the price difference was going to break the piggy bank for a practice amp, no hesitation recommending the mini.

Is it good to practice with a full band if required ?

If you're able to plug into a PA then yes. On its own, no, it's loud for its size but still not THAT loud 👍
