      @coppulor6500 Před rokem

      @@blue-tb2fd I know this is 3 yrs later but that's poifect. Here's why
      I have a studio model PRS. Bought it used in 1990. Fast forward a bajillion years and my family has been extremely ill from mold poisoning so I haven't touched my guitars except one beater when I have the desire AND energy to play. Anywho, our first bass player from way back when (extraordinarily talented) never stopped writing and recording and got to meet his idol, Prince, right and I do mean RIGHT before he died and Prince's crew were intrigued. Poor dude. Busts his ass all this time.....anyway, he recently got signed and he wanted me to record a solo. Never got a DAW and and interface cuz I got mouths to feed so I was busy working etc. So, I figure my beater is the best bet cuz the strings on my other guitars are ancestrally ancient at this point. After screwing around with my shitty axe I say fuck it and go grab my PRS, vacuum off a 1/4" layer of dust, wipe it down with a damp cloth and put it on and......the fucker's in tune!!!!! I couldn't believe it. Blew me away. Of course, the strings were a bit on the corrosiony side and kinda sliced up my formerly well-calloused finger tips but still. I love PRS. Hate that they haven't given single coils enough love over the years. Very frustrating. Looks like that's finally changing though.

    This is a great demo. I particularly liked seeing the acoustic setting shown here and it's one of the reasons that I will be buying one of these amps. Thanks chaps.

      It’s true about Pete. He could make anything sound amazing but the Katana is the real deal. I’ve owned and currently own, played and gigged with many tube amps. Orange, Marshall, Fender, Vox, EVH, Mesa....the Katana has tube like tone, no question about it. When I’m too tired after work to go to the basement and play through my more bigger and louder and just want something simple that sounds great, it’s y go to. Add built in delay, reverb, boost and fx and mod, 3 types of each with all those amp settings as well, you can’t go wrong. I considered selling all my tube amps after buying the Katana MK II! I didn’t lol but certainly considered it. The acoustic setting with dirt pedals sounds amazing too. The amp takes pedals incredibly well and my favorite part, at night I play on 0.5 watts with the volume cranked and the master up just enough to hear it. The Jan Ray and the King of Tone stacked with a Tube Screamer through a Katana is one of the best tones I’ve ever had. Best $350 I ever spent. If I had this amp in the 1990’s as a kid I would of never left the house.

    That's got to be the best demo of an amp I've seen in a long time. Being able to see the settings on the pop-up control panel was a great idea. The pieces you played were spot-on for each setting and really quite inspiring - I was really getting into each song. Exquisite playing from all three of you. Quite a contrast to the usual chatty affairs (which I love by the way). A nice 'once-in-a-while' refreshing change. Would like to see some more of this sort of thing.
