  • His images have been used by many notable organisations, from Fujifilm UK to National Geographic Traveler. The photograph of Iceland’s Selfoss waterfall was used by the Small European Postal Administrations Communities (Sepac) as a stamp in Iceland in 2007. It won fourth place in the Deutsche Briefmarken-Revue “most beautiful stamp in Europe competition” 2007.

This has been one of those life changing moments. The images are spectacular. The softness adds to the atmosphere without exception. How he manages to produce such beautiful pieces of art i don't know, however what was interesting was seeing how his work evolved.

I have to say finding Bruce Percy and his work has absolutely changed my outlook on Photography. Most of us are so obsessed with sharpness. 'I want front to back sharpness' you hear time after time. But look at Bruce's images...a lot of them are actually very soft especially the backgrounds/mountains. As if he's shooting at f22 constantly. Unless he's using very low res images which is a possibility. Would love to see the originals up close. Absolutely love his work so inspiring.

I’ve been a big fan of Bruce for years, but I have never considered his images soft. He sometimes reduces contrast on background subjects. After reading you comment I got up and checked a print of his I have on my wall and sure enough, it could not be sharper.

Excellent photographs by an excellent photographer. Once again, a quietly spoken and considered smudger. Thank you, Bruce.

Love the simple lines and starkness of these pictures as the clean but 'in your face' results of colour and style put most compositions in the shame!
KISS taken to the extreme - loved it.

Amazing speech from one of the few photographers I really look up to. Also, extra points for using Olafur Arnalds music in the slideshow! 👍

I learned a lot from watching this talk, and love Bruce's pictures. The only negative for me was the choice of music for the slide show. The pictures are so soft and calming, and the music was simply too strident.

Beautiful work and interesting talk. My one itch was the repetition of the 80/20 ratio of foreground, horizon with a mountain or two ...got very samey. I wanted a little more diversity in composition and was glad when Hokkiado came along.
