Poor fella is done I reckon. Stress fractures in the elbow are career killers. At least when you get one in your back, you can modify your action to reduce the stress & still come back from it. You can't do that with your elbow though. It's a pretty important cog in the chain for any sport than relies on explosive arm power. You can't bowl & not fully extend your arm.
Bigger question is will jos buttler keep for the test side and will jofra rejoin the test side with stokes as captain he'll look after him surely

Don’t think root goes hard enough for t20 internationals. He takes his time getting in. And I agree Jordan been off it for a while now but if not Jordan who goes in his place. I’m shocked they left out Woakes. Yes he struggles out of England but the fact is he good lower order runs when setting a total or in a chase at the back end. And he still has that golden arm to nick you a wicket just in the moment that you actually need one.
I'm sure Jordan will be primarily a sub fielder and he's in the top 5 in the world at that if not top 1

Archer needs to prove himself before he walks back in the side. They pander him something rotten
Jofra is world class
Those poor lads in Barbados taking the crease and then they see Archer steaming in.
There are faster bowlers in the West Indies than Archer his pace is nothing special there.
Woakes must have really upset someone.
So hope Jofra can get fit and give it the full beans. He's awesome if fit.
