- Day EIGHT of the 12 Days of RJ's Trains!!!! Already a week in and there has been a lack of boring diesel engines, so let's fix that today! I often say I live in two places and nowhere at the same time, between Washington DC and Long Island, NY, which means I have a few home railroads. In today's video, we are going to look at two of them, the Richmond, Fredricksburg, and Potomac Railroad (RF&P) and the New York & Atlantic Railroad (NY&A), and their diesel power. Enjoy!

RJ enjoying the 12 days Merry Christmas!
Nice paint schemes of both engines.
Thanks for introducing us to the RF&P railroad near your 2nd 'Home Town', Washington, D.C., RJ. Without your interest, I certainly never would have learned about it. Thanks for this great train run and all the best for the holidays!
Thanks RJ...your videos are always informative. 🎄
I like the different angles.
Some Nice Runs RJ 👍💯
Awesome video 😊
Great video! I also collect RF&P and LIRR. Originally from LI and now live on the Northern Neck of Va!
There's that RF&P! I've got a Railking RF&P Berkshire and full silver passenger set I bet you'd like, very nice running on the layout!
Nice to see an RF&P fan. I live in northern Virginia close to the old RF&P right of way. I model it in HO. I also shop at that store in Manassas. I’m also a native New Yorker. My brother is an engineer for Metro North. I’m a big fan of the New York Central and New Haven Railroad. I grew up close to the NH Maybrook line.
You planning on getting a house down in Virginia there and starting a nice layout like your buddy JD anytime soon let me know your thoughts on that one

@@rj.trains Thanks, dude. Merry Christmas!
(Tom here.)
I see those pictures and videos of real train cars being degraded by vandals and gang-members and it really infuriates me. I hope these toy train designers don't start incorporating these images on their model train products.
I am very opinionated on certain things, as you can tell, R.J. l'm sorry, but l have always been of the mind-set that: if you damage someone else's property, you get caught, you get arrested. But, unfortunately, that doesn't happen anymore in the real world. This world is going to pot, l believe.
Thank you for posting these great videos, sir!!! I'm sorry if l ramble on so, but l feel l need to express how l feel about certain subject matters. And seeing such things on videos and photos, l feel l need to express my thoughts on said things, sir. Thank You for all of these great videos of your train set-ups, R.J. !!!!!! Have a great day, sir!!!!
