I don't think this is about whether they like the food or they prefer one language over another, it's all about them being outta pocket - disrespectful. They are absolutely capable of getting PR training. You can dislike a thing and refrain from generalizing a whole country/culture. Mexicans aren't a monolith and the way they approached every conversation was as if we were. Also, you guys had to of known from the moment she answered that way on your podcast she might get dragged - because you know better. You can hold people accountable and still chose to double down on support - pero respeto is required primero.

I agree with what you said. I also think they are young and learning. I'm going to continue supporting them. They way I see it, they are ours, our people, our kids, our children, our siblings. They got told that what they did (the faces at the soda bag) and what they said was wrong. We need to educate our youth and give them advice. Not abandon them and cancel them for not knowing any better. And for their own good, they need to get a different manager, not their sister.

Just because they're mexican, they aren't supposed to like everything. Plus, we forget that they are born and raised in the US! It's culture shock. People are sensative af now day's and our gente is the first to racially profile our own people. They were asked a question, and they answered honestly. Professionally their team could have coached them in wording and kept it honest but people take everything out of context.

No se expreso bien, nada de malo tiene su persona para su edad y considerando las circumstancias de ellos. Mucha gente va a otros paises y simplemente no les gusta lo que comen por que estan acostumbrados a lo que comen en casa. Los gestos, pues son chavos que aprenden. They are trashing them, she's 16, one brother is 18 and the other 25, they are still young in the head. They were put in a situation they weren't ready for. Everyone is acting all hight and mighty. Mexican could care less about the American culture, the food and so forth, but here we are trying to make a better life correct, but yet haven't embarrassed it fully. It's the same thing, these kids like the music but haven't been thought how to interview, how to speak, and so they are just answering honestly. I think it was just their bad experience in Mexico City. & They didn’t know how to properly express themselves. I love Mexico but I will always have a bad memory from Mexico City because when I was a little girl, they stole our truck with all my family’s luggage there! It was a fkd up feeling and for a long time I never wanted to go back. But regardless, I LOVE MEXICO (that’s where my soul is the happiest!)🇲🇽❤️

What could be so important for Mando to not be present during the apology? This is their entire livelihood. Business trumps your personal life. Unless it’s a life or death situation. Which I highly doubt, he’s too prideful and does not want to fold.
I’m first generation and my son (14 year old) is 2nd generation I’ve had the privilege to take my son to Mexico since the age of 3. There were a few things that I had to explain to him so he wouldn’t say rude things or find things weird and live the experience. He loves Mexico and although Spanish is not his first language Mexican Regional music is his favorite genre.
Some children like Yaritza and her Brothers didn’t have that privilege because their parents weren’t able to take them to Mexico. From my understanding, this was their first time there. Maybe the people they went with didn’t quite explain the differences or teach them to respect or understand why things are different.
I would like to see something good come out of this. Like them experiencing the “Rancho” life of Mexico, not just the city and different types of foods, not just tacos.
Anyways, Team Yahritza! No se agüiten! Y’all are young and this is just a learning experience to make you wiser . Ignore all the hate because the Love is much bigger ❤

It's frustrating. When you get into adulthood you don't give a F*&#. But growing up, it's hard. You long belonging, and being between 2 cultures makes some feel like they don't belong anywhere. This backlash against them feels like an attack on Mexican-Americans in general. Mexicans seem to forget that it's Mexican-Americans that have helped, influenced, and popularized Mexican music. Eslabon Armado is a Mexican-American group, and it was their song that 1st topped the billboard global 200 chart. Trap corridos, a fusion of Mexico and the U.S. Junior H, Nata, and all those other artists lived for years in LA. Rancho Humilde, Del record, Prajin, all in CA. Keep hating, but this group of kids is our future. Not perfect, they may make mistakes, and we should educate and support. Yahritza y su Esencia come from a humble background, worked in the fields with immigrant parents. They don't come from money, unlike PP. We should be proud of them and showing them the way.

And all three responded w an answer that has nothing to do w the question, but answered w a negative statement. They're famous, they have to learn how to show respect and at least say how they feel buttttt also give reasons why not just go off bc it can be taken out of context. Yes Mexican Americans helped the Mexican culture but Mexicans were the ones who gave them the views, the fame, and everything can be taken while not showing some sort of respect.
Last I remember Juan Gabriel, Vicente, Marco Antonio Solis, Mana, and many more, aren't Mexican Americans and had a large worldwide influence during the time of no social media. While they're Mexican American, they're also made big by Mexicans. They're public figures and need to learn thet their choices have consequences and learn to be humbled. Honestly, they might of just not expressed themselves well. I don’t think they should be judged just because they said they dislike Mexico City, and she also said “it’s not Mexico it’s just Mexico city” they also mentioned other places in Mexico and said they liked them, I feel like people took it out of context. There’s a lot of us Mexicans that are proud to be Mexicans but that doesn’t mean we have to like every city in it, or every food they make in Mexico. Honestly I don’t think they deserved that much hate.

Some kids don’t have the privledge of going to Mexico . And when they go there they don’t know how to react or what is right and wrong. But instead of looking at the kids they should look at the parents . Maybe they weren’t taught the customs or culture of Mexico . The parents should’ve taught them to learn Spanish as well , they should’ve taught more stuff . I think it’s mostly the parents fault . They have to build up their kids to face the world. But as an artist you can’t be saying that stuff . Unfortunately they didn’t have a manager to tell them that .
