  • A few months ago, I really messed up my thumbs. I was digging trenches and sprained both thumbs. Stretches and exercises helped, but this hand massager really relieved the pain in my thumb: iReliev Hand Massager
    www.ptprogress.com/ireliev-ha...
Video is not sponsored - it's just a look at a tool I personally purchased to relieve pain in my thumbs and it worked surprisingly well.
When I first saw a hand massager like this, my initial impression was that it looked like a gimmick. But after experiencing hand and thumb pain, I decided to give it a try and was surprised by the results! The compression massage was sufficiently intense, and I felt noticeable relief within just 15 minutes.
Personally, I use the iReliev hand massager to relax the muscles of my hand and wrist after working in the yard, gripping tools or using small equipment. If you experience pain in your wrists after working outside or typing all day, or if you have persistent arthritis in your hands or thumbs, I think you’ll love the iReliev hand massager! It’s a helpful tool that’s fun to use, easy to store, and effective at relieving sore hand muscles.

Hope your hand feels better. I live with chronic wrist and hand pain, some other effective treatments and preventative care items I’ve found helpful are paraffin wax machines - they really help get heat, circulation and relief to painful joints, contrast baths (get a container of chilly water and decently warm water and alternate keeping your hand in them for a few minutes until both containers are the same temperature, magnesium oil helps relax tension to the forearms and hands when applied topically, and also investing in an ergonomic keyboard and mouse. These things in addition to physical therapy to keep the supporting muscles strong have kept me going 👍

I have a different brand, and it really does help a lot. Mine also has heat, but that doesn’t seem to be working. I was thinking about replacing it because of that, but maybe I won’t bother. I don’t use mine on a regular basis, but now I will. I’m 71, and I’m an artist. Lately, using a paint brush is really painful, and it’s a hobby I love. I keep worrying that I won’t be able to continue, so thank you for this. I’ll get back to using mine on a regular basis. I’ll also check out your other videos.

Wow, I’ve been a dental hygienist for 30 years. I love getting a mani mainly for the hand massage. And yes, giving myself a hand massage makes my other hand sore. I’ve used massage balls, hand exercises and roll/stretch my hands on the steering wheel of my car when I’m stopped. I’m going to try this unit; it sounds amazing. Thanks for sharing!!

Congratulations on your dad-ness! I hope everything is going well in the family! And thank you for the video. I've been looking into hand massagers for a while, wondering if they're worth the price. And now I'm going to give one a try. Fingers crossed... when they're not owwies...

I've just bought two XLLENT hand massagers for £22 approx each from Amazon !!!! They are Fantastic !!!! They are like an inflating blood pressure monitor that heats up and vibrates !!!! They got rid of the Arthritis pains in my hands which an infra red torch massager couldn't do !!!! I was so impressed, that's why I bought 2 of them. You would think they were £100 at least !!!! It's one of my favourite Massagers. I have all sorts of Massagers but nothing for my Hands except USB Heated Gloves !!! My hands and fingers hurt a lot and the joints cracked as I moved my fingers. So it's wonderful to be free of Pain, because you can't not use your hands for very long !!!!!

I have pain in my thumbs. It gets worse at times. It's been really bad lately. However, I wish it did have the kneading, but I'm desperate & have been interested in getting a hand massager. Thank you for your review on this.

Have you found anything that works better than this for at home use? I'm a software engineer and am in constant pain from overuse.

I have arthritis all but my two little fingers were trigger finger surgeries, one thumb too. My tendon in my wrist. I have problems using my thumb that had surgery moving in different directions . The wax it was way to hot!!. I wrap it heating pad. COLD NOWAY!I couldn’t do it tender hands. I am in physical therapy. I am doing the power grip web exerciser too. I found in other devices the hard balls hurt. Would this help that tendon that’s going to my wrist and hand issues?. I have this company’s amazing tens unit.

Just a friendly advice from a guy who worked in advertising and shot ads for a living for like 20 years - the way you are presenting it makes it hard for people to believe you are not associated with the company or getting paid by it. You may not be, it's just the way the video is shot that makes it look so much like an ad.

Thanks for watching Vlad. Not an ad, but I can appreciate your perspective. I could have probably shot the video with fewer dynamic shots and interesting close ups. But that’s boring to me and I enjoy the creative process, even if I’m not getting any sponsorship payment.

@@PTProgress , indeed it's those shots that make it look that way to me. But it maybe also that I'm biased after working in the industry, I guess when more people watch it you'd get a more balanced feedback on that. Have a good one, Tim
