Composed by David Wise. Recreated by me. This was made possible by locating the original instrument samples from workstation keyboards and drum machines before they were put into the game and rebuilding the soundtrack from the ground up, applying some modern mixing techniques along the way to lift the veil of 16bit compression and create an updated listening experience. This is the best song in DKC2, therefore the best song on the Super Nintendo, and maybe video games as a whole. Perhaps even the best song ever composed
How is it best in DKC2 and then the console you can play it on? The cartridge has the game on it and not the Super Nintendo entertainment system.

saying its the best song in the snes library is a pretty big statement but it's certainly up there
I like how most songs in this game uses the sounds of the environment in the music.
Mining Melancholy = Pickaxe and metal sounds
Disco Train = Screaming people on rollercoaster
Forest Interlude = Birds and nature sounds
Ship Deck = Water and ship creaking
Ship Mast = Wind and rain
Lockjaw = Water slushing
Hot Head Hop = Lava bubbling
Bayou Boogie = Swamp insect sounds
Stickerbush Symphony = Heavenly choir
Why do people think the disco train sound effect is people screaming? It’s a firecracker being launched upwards.
Hands down the best song in the game for me and that's a tall order since all the songs in this game are great.

Wow that's crisp. The clanging, all the percussion, the subtle hammering throughout the track, it's all so beautifully clear here. And the chanting from 1:24 on is so much more audible here, I absolutely love this

Excelent use of stereo. I thought something was missing when hearing with one ear, then i put the other phone. Perfection. The snes original makes great use of stereo so this is expected for such a meticulous recreation.
