  • The Boston Celtics won their 18th championship last night, beating the Dallas Mavericks in 5 games. Colin Cowherd and Nick Wright discuss the 2023-24 Celtics and if they’re an all-time great team, and if Aaron Rodgers missing the New York Jets minicamp has been blown out of proportion. Plus, they ask why Caitlin Clark has become a target.

Only deviation I had for this particular discussion was that the way Caitlan Clark and Angel Reese have handled the situation could not be more different:
CC: I'm just trying to make a layup and play basketball
AR: I guess some people get "special whistles"
I'm sorry, but these two reactions are not comparable, even if both are playing well per the basketball rivalry...

Nick names a lot of all time greats Luka went farther than in the playoffs at this age. You know two guys he leaves out that went farther that were younger/the same age ? Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. They were 24 and 25 when they won two games against the warriors in the finals to Luka's 1 this year. He says we can't use this year for anything but building Luka up when all playoffs he has been using past years where the they were just as young to tear down Jaylen and more so Tatum.

In some ways this Dallas team feels like last year's Heat team. Lower seeded yet caught fire and played their best ball at the right time.
