great video! Just missed his falsetto in Showbiz imo. He does a falsetto so high and guitar-sounding in the end of the song that not a lot of people actually realizes it's him and not his guitar.

i think you mean muscle museum, which is from the album, but the title track showbiz didn't sound like a guitar at the end, muscle museum did. however showbiz did have an insanely high falsetto at the end! it wasn't guitar-like but it was definitely crazy high.

@@punkbjork The "guitar solo" in Muscle Museum was done through a guitar amp though I believe. It's very cool. I have a strong falsetto up high so I enjoy singing that.
When I first saw Muse live I didn't know who they were. Matt caught my attention by starting on a high note that I thought was a guitar. I found out later, the song was Knights of Cydonia. On the album, I thought it was a guitar. He gets higher in Micro Cuts at the end. Definitely an amazing voice.

These notes aren't insanely high but the extreme vibrato and pleasant timbre of Matt makes them sound way better than any falsetto I ever heard, it sounds so powerful and connected, well done Matt
Micro Cuts is one of my personal favourite Muse songs. I think it’s one of their best songs. And yeah, with Matt just going really high, it always gives me chills….

Love the appreciation of Micro cuts, also my favourite song from my favourite album. Also it is crazy that there is something like that hidden in survival that I didn't even know about. Cool video!
My favorite one is a very hidden one, it's the highest harmony during the last chorus of Megalomania (on the word 'disguise') it's so high and sounds so good at the same time!
That's my favorite too! The harmonies, especially the haunting falsetto at the end, are amazing.
Bellamy is an absolute freak. Singing aside, when performing live, hes playing righteous guitar lines at the same time as singing like this!!

My favourite vocal line from muse is in "United state of Eurasia" when i say "and must we do as we're told ?" at 1mn20
Matt bellamy used to be the singer that i considered to be the strongest, the highest, but i went to see nothing but thieves the other day, the singer conor mason hit a Db6 live, whilst ill, from what i can tell from the internet, the highest people have heard him sing is a D6, but i cant find footage for that. The crazy thing about this Db6 that i heard tho, he did not sound pushed at all, it wasnt going bright or anything. Look up on youtube nbt futureproof live o2 arena.

What an absolute powerhouse of a vocalist. I was just completely blown away upon first hearing it and said to my bf.. " his voice is like a whammy bar!". It teminded me of Prince straight away. Only to find out Matt was a hige gan amd found great inspiration from Prince, especially in the song Madness.❤

Micro Cuts is one of my go-to songs to show someone who wants to discover more of Muse. Also, Survival's final "I'm gonna win" is perhaps my favorite vocal line of all time.

Matt does what you usually call “reinforced falsetto” kinda like what you would hear from The Bee Gee
Falseto is the mellow kind voice(verses of mixro cuts) The powerful parts (plug in baby last note for example) is head voice. I was able to pull it off actually, you push the note through your head somehow, it's the best way i can explain it lol. So it's like a falsetto but very powerful
