Momota is a joke if he plays during Lindan's prime of 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Dan just got old and hence slow reflexes. Its alright. Also kento deserves the win especially in 2019 when he was a beast against all top MS. I pray for your comeback Kento. :)

@@emersonlee9968because LCW is MUCH more fit than LD. LD just has better shot quality, shot decision, and mental strength. LCW better speed and power (even LD said LCW was hardest MS smasher during an interview).

But LCW still lose to LD a few times in a row at that same period ...
The only way to explain LD beats LCW but not Momota is that LD only brings his best when meeting LCW, but against other players he's a lot less motivated to win.
During that time, Momota was still a newcomer just beginning to make an impression, he was not yet a threat to LD's legacy thats why LD did not feel the need to protect his legacy.
But against LCW its different, he knows that LCW is his main rival of his same time period, so he will always give his best. With Momota, the newcomer is arriving at a time when LD is already 3 years past his prime, so its ok even if he loses, it can be explained by old age, no shame at all. Momota simply got lucky he's not arriving during LD's prime ...

记得有一场18年林丹跟桃田的比赛，林丹明显连半场球都杀不死桃田。而桃田一旦找到机会，专门往林丹身上杀，即使场上有很多空地可以得分。这场比赛让我对桃田的性格有了比较明确的认识。我觉得他这么做不是因为这是最好的得分方式，而是觉得这么做没问题。这跟苏卡慕约模仿刘雨辰动作来气双塔组合一样。 我那时候就觉得作为世界排名第一单打，这么做未免有些小家子气，不够心胸博大。
我一直认为，桃田作为超一流选手，赢林丹多少分都不是问题，但是专门往林丹身上招呼，说明他空有超一流技术，没有超一流的气度。 经历了奥运输球，22年谁都输的桃田，已经泯然众人矣了。回过头看当时桃田对林丹的表现，我觉得他那时就是想通过踩林丹来证明自己，并没有那种舍我其谁的王霸之气。 所以一旦状态不好，输两场球，就失去那种老子天下第一的自信了。
他是比林丹年轻而已 。而且我觉得身上杀球没啥，对付林丹这种级别的选手，肯定要用这种得分率最高的办法 ，要不然没法赢
