I think it would have been so much funnier if Dennis had swapped his passport for a fake and had it on him the whole time
That should have been the joke at the end.
"oh my passport burned 😫, wait it's a dummy"
That actually would've been the "correct" way to do this prank but I'm almost certain they would've offered to pay for a new passport for him.
@@lazarobl But then he would’ve lost out on the trip had the passport been damaged beyond usability. :(
@@ShadowLinkxMaster They would've just given the trip to him later and he would have gotten a new passport so it's just inconvenient for the time being.
@@lemonoxygen8846 His girlfriend paid for her tickets though
Sometimes I feel bad for Dennis, then he does something like this.
the 400 dollar neon sign?
You mean, “then Linus convinced him to do something like this…”
Also don't forget, DennyIsHung
Exactly
🤣
"I'm trying to forget the combination.. I already forgot."
Sometimes Dennis' genius is.. It's almost frightening.
its at 1:02 if anybody missed
btw I was banned from LTT channel for no reason, just like others as he said in that vid. (where thiojoe made an app)

@@DemeDemetre bruh u sound like a bot with your comments that's probably why
@@boomerboy8043 lmao how?
This is the Lock Picking Lawyer, and today we're going to show Ethan how he could have gotten his passport back in 2 easy minutes
dennis would have changed the rules
Lock picking lawyer actually did a video on this same model and just cut it in half with a circ saw. Not sure why Alex told Ethan no when he went for the circ saw
Just put this stick right here and... oh? That was easier than expected.
It can be opened with a magnet in seconds.
@@TheMorphis568 well, since he said "you're gonna kill yourself", I'm guessing that's the reason he said no 🤣
Dennis seems like the perfect person to host a totally rigged competition
where the rules are always changing......
Staged competition. even ignoring the "can't use a pickaxe". He was so close with the nibbler. Make a lager hole, smash the concrete with a sledge (or the jack hammer from later). and then nibbler through the inner layer.
@@Dysan72 yep. At least 90% of this video is them realizing it's so much easier to open than expected and finding ways to prolong the video. Like dragging the safe... what is that going to do 🤣
The shop literally have everything he could ask for but he decided to drag it with his car? LOL
The snipping tool work miraculously, exposed the brittle concrete layer, at that point a sledge hammer will finish the job in 5 minutes.
I think they intentionally inflated the time to make a better video. Did you notice that he got back with the jackhammer just in time, and got the safe open, just in time? And his girlfriend was able to buy a ticket and presumably take off work with no notice? I think the spirit of the video is real, but there is some contingency planning and movie magic going on behind the scenes.
Otherwise they wouldn't have taken away his pickaxe.
Also that's why they did the video with two members of the team who aren't engineers lol. Because the other guys would have been able to get a cheap fire safe open in 15 minutes.
Dude, he nibbled a hole that he could have gone through in like 5 minutes. They did the crazy stuff because it’s fun. Those safes are for fire protection and being bolted to a floor.
@@DaimyoD0 It's pretty obvious imo
That circular saw would have cut right through the outer plastic casing, the fireproofing material (very soft gypsum material, not concrete), and the inner plastic lining, in about 30 seconds. There is absolutely zero metal, besides the pins that lock the door on, in that entire safe. It's more of a safe to keep things from getting for damage, and to keep someone from walking out with your belongings. I use it as a document safe, and a safe that I can access quickly for one of my watches and jewelry that I wear everyday, a few hundred bucks, and a "bump in the night" gun. It's easier to get into than my big gun safe, that has a dial combo, that I keep all my guns in. And it's much easier to get into than my medium sized high security safe, that also has a dial combo, that I keep my Krugerrands, cash, and watches in.
@@DaimyoD0 “his girlfriend was able to buy an ticket and presumably take off work with no notice?”
Even two years ago there were plenty of contract/freelancing jobs, but in the COVID era… couldn’t she have a job that allows her to work remotely?
Somewhere Lockpicking Lawyer is yelling at his screen.
Honestly anyone who has watched LPL is screaming at the screen.
His next video is going to be seven ways of non-destructive ways inside of this very safe.
@@kaksspl he already did one
Like Louis Rossmann screaming: "HEAT THE BOARD!!! HEAT THE MFKING BOARD!!!"
Me being confused why he needs a passport to go to Hawaii and forgetting they’re Canadian 🤡
ohhh I was confused about the same thing lol! I was wondering why won't he just grab his drivers license and leave
Ohhhhhhh
Because then the video wouldn't work
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooohhhh
I always love the videos where someone is forced to stretch out opening a safe or smth over a painfully long time. The LockPickingLawyer cut that thing open in like a minute.
Yeah lol
I mean, in all fairness, he was going to open it in no time flat until Denis said no pickaxe
It’s almost like having a specific specialized skill set helps approach a job with the correct tools and techniques. Similar to when Linus quickly solves an obscure and complicated computer troubleshooting thing. It’s not actually easy or obvious he just has years of experience at that precise niche.
Ahh, so I assume since the lockpickinglawyer can do it, that you can open it in under a minute aswell? Why don't you make a video about opening a safe? I'd love to see how "painfully long" it is.
@@wickedwonka999 in video 756 he cut one in half in less than 5 mins
Marxism would have saved him
Edit: wow didn't realise so many of you love marxism
You're right. A CZcams search of the safe would've been the actual fastest way to get in
he'd probably use a magnet or something :D
lockpickinglawyer would have opened it over the phone call.
I’m pretty sure this is the safe the LPL just cut open with a circular saw.
He could've googled the master code for that safe, which I'm sure they didn't change. Or just drilled that crappy lock. Or anything, really. It's harder to keep those safes closed than open, but they were just trying to milk it for time as much as they could.
Couldn’t they have used a fake passport and just handed him, his “real one” when he opened the safe ?
Probably didn't expect him to go this far.
That's exactly what they did
This was actually just kind of painful to watch. I felt Alex's and Colin's pain with all the stupid ideas.
Colin being a good friend saying "I'll get it, get out of here" he had to clean all the mess lol
That's a fire "safe", designed to stop things from burning, as opposed to keeping thieves out.
A circular saw would be through this like butter - czcams.com/video/2guvwQvElA8/video.html
yep. I saw the label
It was the first thing to pop into my head - just go to LPL`s channel, there is good chance he already shown how to open this
🔥🔥🔥
The pickaxe looked like it was doing work but Dennis pulled a Linus 😏and made up a new rule cause it looked too easy , the circular saw would definitely have been added to the list
@@MetaDrow or an angle grinder ! 2 min job to cut a slot
My takeaway from this is never trust Dennis with important documents 😂
LockPickingLawyer cut that same safe in half using the skil saw 3:26
The name of his video, "[756] Sentry Safe Cut in Half FAST!"
Holy shit, this episode wouldve been done so fast lol

I thought he was just gonna say “screw it, i’m using the pickaxe”, but the oxyacetylene torch was a cool touch!
The pickaxe would've destroyed the top in no time.
Any LockPickingLawyer fans know that all it takes to get into one of these bad boys is a circular saw and 3 minutes. Ethan could have watched a 5-minute video and been in Hawaii stress-free. xD
He would have gotten shot down by dennis once again. He would have made it through with just a pickaxe. the safe is built super poorly. if it was built properly it would weight over 900 pounds at minimum
I'm tempted to watch this 53 minute ad on the dangers of gluten.
I accidentally hit skip, damn.
Did someone check this safe didn't have a vulnerability that allows a big magnet to pull the lock bar open?
I was thinking more along the lines of a master override code or master physical key.
Yep, big strong magnet will let you unlock it in seconds.
The lock picking lawyer got through this in under a few minutes with a circular saw.
I was a little surprised that he didn't have access to an angle grinder/cutting tool. I also didn't realize that these safes tend to be made with steel reinforced concrete. That should make them a lot easier to break open.
Fun fact with a lot of those safes
If him and another dude preferably about his size picked it up above their heads and dropped it on a corner of the safe on like the road there's like a 90% chance it would pop open
I mean, they dropped it from 21 feet (6.5 meters) twice and it didn't do more than just break the plastic on the outside a little
You had the right idea with the skilsaw, that would have ripped through concrete and all no problem at the cost of a couple abrasive disks instead of blades
the thing is that stuff isnt concrete its fire insulation
Yeah, it's not concrete. The regular wood blade would cut right through it. It's a very soft gypsum material for fireproofing. You can break it with your hands.
As an American, I'm like "you don't even need a passport for Hawaii?" Forgetting they're Canadians 🤣🤣🤣
I was probably about 8 or 9 minutes into it before I made the same realization. lol.
I was like, "wtf" do you need passports? "If you can take your driver's license and then, I remembered they are Canadians
It's true what they say about the American education system I guess then
I was so confused as to why he needed a passport and then I remembered they're from Canada
I love Dennis's segway to sponsor. Just 15 minutes to charge the phone to 69% Nice
Ethan should've just pulled up a LockPickingLawyer video, would've been done in 5 minutes
Hmm glad there is no OSHA in Canada lol. Especially that warehouse part with the forklift lol
They followed safety procedures by using a platform and harnesses to attach themselves. Nothing wrong there.
osha is just bullshit to make lawyers happy anyway
a well deserved break, even with dennis adding rules through the challenge
It is nice seeing Dennis on the other side of these challenges
Next series - Linus lock up Denis'es monthly salary into the same and gives him a toothpick to unlock it within day, or join Colton.
Live, love, liao.
...or whatever that weird neon sign in his house was
That's one of the best and most creative sponsoring idea I've ever seen! As a OP9 user I can confirm: It really goes that fast!!
I’m guessing they never saw the video from lockpickinglawyer where he saws into the safe in like a min.
He even picks up the circular saw at one point and some dummy is like no that will kill you or some shit.
That was a wood saw. Not a grinder.
It was circular saw and that will absolutely cut thru that safe. Search lockpickinglawyer saw safe and watch the video.
Happy 1 Year LMG Anniversary, Ethan!
Hilarious 😂 always love seeing a safe get smashed in increasingly weird and creative ways 🤣
Hacksmith needs to send them an unbreakable box now.
I swear, Denis fills me with joy. He's such a total treasure. :D
I swear I've seen that exact same safe get cut in half by somebody with just a circular saw
Lockpicking Lawyer?
Kinda feeling bad when he almost instantly found a pickaxe that was perfect and then Dennis took it away because he hadn't considered the power of it.
I'm so glad CSF is back, seeing a bunch of nerds do dumb stuff is great, not to mention it's a great way to break work tensions while still making money
they really arent linus literally hired this guy to keep it from dying lmao
You can open that safe in 1 second with a magnet lol
Also a circular saw will cut it like butter.
the handshake at the end is priceless!
You can usually cut right through these things with a circular saw.
Dennis is so evil... I love it.
Changing rules mid way was a dick move though.
thats dennis
to make a video more entertaining? no
@@schnitzelsemmel Less entertaining when each following clever idea can be instantly denied. So the guy had to go for either very stupid and obviously nonsensical "solutions" like dragging it behind car, or ignore the things that were actually working. That's not entertainment. That's treating the guy and the viewer like an idiot.
SHould've called the lockpicking lawyer
“How beautiful” love Dennis
Dennis fucking with Ethan by changing rules mid-game was funny af.😂
Drill a hole in the steel>nippers to cut the top off>nitrogen to make the concrete more fragile>hammer and chisel or sledgehammer to dustify the concrete>repeat steps 1 & 2 for inner layer. Probably takes about an hour and change all things said and done.
My guy Ethan scored fr
I lost it when Dennis tried to "forget" the combination..
Man Dennis is so precious ahahaha
That is so stupid that dennis changed the rules because he found a solution that worked too well.
Kinda yeah but it wouldn't have made for a very good video
@@kaldo8907 That is very debatable on what would have made the best video.
@@MegaLokopo yeah let's make a video that the original footage of him with a pickaxe for 1 hour, very entertaining and enough footage lmao
@@bazrulnizam8429 They had multiple options, put it in a failed video compilation. don't include that footage, put it in a youtube short.
This must have been quite stressful lol
Dennis changed the rules just like Linus .....hes becoming more Canadian every day !!!
you shouldve used an angle grinder with a disc for cutting metal (since dennis only banned the pickaxe) to either end of the bar in the hinge and knocked it out with a screwdriver then used the crowbar to pry it open , probably wouldve been done within an hour if you did it that way.
LMAO. I just love that Oneplus has been relegated to a secondary channel sponsor because Linus knows their phones are ass value now.
This is the LockPickingLawyer, and what I have for you today ..... (opend in 20sec) :)
6:00 Budget Fast Five movie, pulling the safe scene.
You forgot... You have some really powerful magnets in the shop. No really, at this low of a quality safe holding a strong magnet in the right place would probably unlock it, typically on home safes, they are held shut with a solenoid. Without proper shielding a magnet can easily pull the pin back on the solenoid. The key backup is also a point of weakness as they are usually cheaply made in keypad operated home safes like this.
Also that passport is fucked. Surprised he 'really' got on a plane with it.
They tell you that passports need to be pristine to be usable but mine has water damage and is warped, the cover is illegible, the RFID chip doesn't work anymore, a bunch of the page corners are damaged or completely missing. Never been stopped once.
Subway: "...why the hell are these so many holes in the pavement???"
Dad's Warehouse: "...what the hell happened to the floor???"
I was like "lol he doesn't even need a passport to go to Hawaii" and then remembered they're Canadian 🤦🏼♀️
Dennis wakes up each day to choose chaos.
I am always sceptical about how real the timer really is but it was entertaining nontheless
its a sponsored commercial...nothing is real here. it was a smart way of doing it tbh, stupid, but funny.
Ya, this is a video of how Ethan "scammed" his boss into giving him a free vacation to Hawaii in exchange of him making a video on how (not) to destroy a safe
the little cgi explosion when he hit the safe with the pickaxe lol
dude there's so many angle grinders in the Shop, he coulda used one of those and gone through the top lmao
This episode was insane!!!🔥
With exposed wire like that you probably just need the right wire combination and right power source to make the solenoid open.
Ethan was never seen on CSF again after this video 😂
Anyone else feel like Channel Super Fun is just zombie Simpsons now?
Lockpicking Lawyer : [756] Sentry Safe Cut in Half FAST!
Dennis is a Evil Genius
An Angle Grinder would have made quick work of this, even a reciprocating saw or circular saw with a quality blade for metal cutting could take care of this flimsy safe.
Hell yes csf uploaded again finally
that's not that much of a problem. I got a sledge hammer, breaker bar, a couple grinders
love the Enron hat at the end
LockPickingLawyer showed that all you need, is a simple rotary saw and about 5 minutes
Should have just hired a stihl saw with a diamond tip blade, would have cut into it like a knife through butter 😂
diamond tip wouldnt be necessary for this
My first instinct woulda been end that thing with a hydraulic press XD
Bans the use of a pick axe. Proceeds to use a jack hammmer
One magnet and the solenoid opens.
Those safes are incredibly easy to open with a strong magnet
I love Dennis's pranks!!!
Hahahahahaha this was so harsh to watch 🤣 I thought that passport was a goner
Not gonna lie, that was a bit of a dick move. Knowing that damaging it would be cause to not be able to leave or even cause fines.
Nothing can tank Linus flught prank
that was the best video on CSF 100%
He found the way to open ut up when he swing the pickaxe at it. He just had to keep going
Somebody call the Lock Picking Lawyer. He'll make short work of that safe.
I think the real sponsor should have been the safe manufacturer lololol
Need to do that to Linus, put his passport in a stronger safe and hide it say up a mountain and leave clues and challenges to lead him to it.
He got to the concrete layer and thought "lets use fire".
Bruh.
I cannot believe he made it! I was sure once he destroyed the keypad any mercy was gone.
Simple,
Drill hole in safe, fill safe with water, slide in a lit french banger, let it go pop! Water doesn’t compress, and blows door off, spend next 3 hours drying passport
12:08 i like the big A merch
Ethan needs to watch more LockPickingLawyer
Ah yeah that safe is probably the one LPL sawed open with a hand rotary saw. Its a thin sheet of metal with plaster/concrete inside.
Colin was looking like Brok from God of War over there
Thanks for the tutorial!
Should have just made a call to Lock Picking Lawyer. 😂
