Just wanted to throw out here that I was in film school and editing something this long and elaborate takes a LOT of time. It's the length of a movie and usually movies are edited in the timespan it took Shane and Andrew to research, film AND edit. That's really impressive and people shouldn't take it for granted or say that he took 'so much time' because it really isn't a lot if we're talking in terms of cinema. Also Shane had to move, evacuate, decorate his house and deal with a company stealing Ryland's money in that time. I'm not sure there really was a moment when he was on a real, relaxing break tbh. In short, Shane's a hard working queen that we should all appreciate :)

99 eve people underestimate just how long it takes to film and edit something. im currently studying media in college and have created multiple short films and it took days to film and 5+ hours (granted I didn’t take it as serious as Shane does) to create a 5 minute clip! it’s such a detailed process, the amount they include is INSANE and it makes me mad when people try to make him or anyone else feel bad when really Shane just wants to provide us with the best and FREE content. shane and everyone else don’t get the credit they deserve

As I’m rewatching this I am on the part where he’s talking about Hollister and this made me remember how not even a year ago i went to the mall with my friend. She is a few sizes smaller than me. She wanted to go to Hollister so we went. While reading this keep in mind I’m a bit more on the big size. I wear a size xl at smallest but usually more oversized clothes to feel more comfortable (like a size xxl) . Well while I was looking around Hollister I realized that it was ALL “skinny cloths”. There was almost no sizes above a large. I barely even found any xl. The employees literally avoided us. It made me so insecure and there were people staring at me the entire time. As I’m rewatching this I am on the part where he’s talking about Hollister and this made me remember how not even a year ago i went to the mall with my friend. She is a few sizes smaller than me. She wanted to go to Hollister so we went. While reading this keep in mind I’m a bit more on the big size. I wear a size xl at smallest but usually more oversized clothes to feel more comfortable (like a size xxl) . Well while I was looking around Hollister I realized that it was ALL “skinny cloths”. There was almost no sizes above a large. I barely even found any xl. The employees literally avoided us. It made me so insecure and there were people staring at me the entire time. I literally wanted to cry it pissed me off so bad omg. One of my worst public memories to this day
