@@idowhatiwant_hiphopbeefit's not so much that as some people have pet allergies, however more airlines could offer this in the future if the price gets affordable enough
This is great and all but how about just making it easier for us to travel with our *well behaved* pets in economy? Because from what I've read on Bark Air, a one-way flight for one dog and one human between New York and Los Angeles starts at $6,000!! Yikes.
I cant even imagine how horrible the smell is going to be. How vile. But at least they can have their own airline and let clean, civilized, normal human beings have their own.
I would much perfer to fly with my furry friend than sit smushed against/between some randos. So far, my worst flight exps were drunken arm-rest-hoggers whose arms I had to keep moving off of me (my face, my crotch, my phone/drinks/food), a colicky a baby that cried for 2 hours straight (but was adorable... and thank god for ear plugs, white noise apps, and noise cancelling buds small enough to have nc headphones over them), and a guy that took off his shoes to reveal and suffocate the plane and nearby birds and UAPs with his sockless, crusty, musty feet.
Unfortunately my three tiny boys were looking over my shoulder while I was watching the hilariously made video. They want to know where they can sign up for frequent flier points. I want to know if there’s a discount when you have more than one dog per human.
That’s the whole problem with this…the average dog owner can’t afford it. You can’t fly unless you are 18+ so if you have children under 18, forget it. Two adults and one or two dogs is $12,000 one way from NYC to LA. $16,000 one way from NYC to London. If you live in LA, you have to fly to NYC first if you want to fly to London. So now your one way cost is $28,000 ($56,000 RT, not including taxes and fees, rental car, hotel and food) This service only caters to the wealthy.
It’s not an April Fools joke. It’s one of the growing number of companies that now cater for long haul flights for people who want to travel with their dogs in cabin.
This is brilliant! This will catch in quickly for those who can afford and companies who take this on will soar in profits I predict. Really well done ad. Loved it! Dog people will eat this up!
You have to be rich in order to afford this! Only available to and from either LA, NYC and London. For 1 dog and 1 human it costs $6,000 one way from NYC to LA. $8,000 one way from NYC to London. If you have more than one dog or more than one human, the price doubles. Also, say you are taking a family vacation and if any of your family members are under 18, they cannot fly. That means if you have a spouse and a couple kids, your spouse and kids would have to fly on another airline. Another thing is, is that only 10 tickets are sold per flight. So that means ten humans and ten dogs. In reality, the average dog owner would never be able to afford this service. If my husband, son and I along with our beagle were to fly round trip from NYC to LA…it would cost us $36,000! Thats not including rental car and hotel accommodations taxes and fees! We are on a fixed income! My husband’s disability benefits are less than that a year! So I can say with certainty that we will never be able to afford Bark Air. I don’t see this service ever taking off (pardon the pun)
All true...but the 1% of the world's wealthy will use this service without thinking twice. Unfortunately I'll never be able to use this service. Maybe if successful, a competitor will start one up for the masses, or should I say the packs. Lol
I cannot afford this currently! However, I feel like I would use this if I was traveling with my dog *internationally* instead of risking having them in cargo. For everything in the U.S., you can technically drive there (albeit, some places can be quite a distance), but with international, you CAN'T drive.
Can we get a version for Cats? I hope this is highly successful it would be wonderful if Pet Guardians had a better alternative. No matter the expense well worth every penny of your pet never has to leave your sight & arrives safely. Bring me a Cat version! Take my Money!
You know damn well they ain't treating them like that. This is all just for a commercial. Gonna be maaad smelly in there, gross, stressed out employees, hair and pee every where
Hi OK I have literally just found out about your company, it's brilliant, however certain questions comes to mind, I've seen your dogy menu, how do dogs select what they want from the menu? What about in flight safety for dogs? Fleet wise besides that beautiful Gulfstream aircraft, will the company be purchasing more jets As Business picks up? will we be seeing more in product development such as a dog version of Business, Premium Economy class and standard Economy class? And speaking of class of travel, what about price? 6000USD and 8000USD will suit the rich celebrities and Businessman/woman can we expect a price reduction in future? Oh yes there's also the question if routes and can we expect people to charter your aircraft to go to other destinations worldwide.
It's a great idea but prohibitively expensive for most dog owners. It would be great to have a less restrictive travel policy for dogs on planes AND one that doesn't break the bank
Oh so sorry and at the customer line at the airport will the dogs have to go thru customs and what about bathroom breaks just what then just bombs away
I love dogs but this is ridiculous if a person has that much money that they can put a dog on a plane try helping people first ya I know the Bible does not talk much about putting a dog on a plane right or wrong but I assume god must want to puke when humans barely can survive and a dog can fly
Oh I am so sorry I love dogs but if I get rich what does the stewardess serve cocktails or purina dog chow and if the plane crashes what then the dog paddle and what about rabies and dogs on the plane that bark to much
This will make so much money that can potentially shift the entire industry into including dogs
Wrong, it's still ppl that don't have dogs and don't want a dog on a plane with them. This is a lane just for them.
Said no one ever

It’s like the same thing Spirit Air did but with dogs! Incredible!
$6,000 per dogs n master from NY to LA

Are yall hiring flight attendants for this barkline? Currently a FA for a regional and this literally is heaven.
I’m a lawyer in Florida and I’m seriously considering changing occupations 🤔 😎.
I'd like to see flights for adults only!
Look at that thing drooling all over the seat.
Bark Air, taking mutt tardery to new heights. Let's just wait till the things gang up at 37 000ft.
I can't believe it took this long...
Excellent!
Dogs, some of the best behaved passengers, not like dogs gonna open emergency door, or say there's a alien on the flight or kicking your chair
BARK Air isn’t for everyone, it’s very costly but well worth it. Definitely worth it for a long trip or if you’re moving somewhere
fantastic! I am so excited it's finally happening...
This is great and all but how about just making it easier for us to travel with our *well behaved* pets in economy? Because from what I've read on Bark Air, a one-way flight for one dog and one human between New York and Los Angeles starts at $6,000!! Yikes.
Still much cheaper than a private jet and a great solution for those changing states but if this works out the economy should follow :)
Yeah... Defo can't afford this lmao. Can barely afford groceries! But hopefully it jump starts a trend to make traveling with pups easier.
It's a gross money grab.

Way cheaper than alternatives I've researched.

Love this concept BUT way too expensive. Please keep in mind the eveno.y folk.
this is more for folks doing a one time move, not vacationing and don't want their dog in cargo.
What a wonderful idea ..

They said they gonna try to lower their prices in the future and anyways and a good price for 6000 - 8000
