This puts me into a trance I swear to god. Don’t underestimate simplicity.
The beauty in this track lies in its simplicity. It uses authentic atmosphere to guide your emotions along with the lyrics. The variations in the scales used, especially at the end prevent it from being repetitive. The lead guitar playing those chords on top of the rhythm gives this song a beautiful range in frequencies. The dynamics from one riff to the next keep a wonderful consistency while at the same time provide the perfect amount of variety without sacrificing power. It feels as though it invigorates the body and mind like any metal song should.

This is not normally my type of music but there is more texture going on here than appears from a first listen. Lots of interesting melodies by the guitarist. Actually, there's a strength in each members abilities. It still surprises me that this band is from my area of the country. Great job guys.

First listen I was kind of sad it didn't go in the same direction as Neural Union seemed to be going.... Once I got over that I really got into this song, the vocals are amazing and the instruments sound huge

This song is amazing. I personally know Julian; so I know the meaning behind the lyrics. As far as the music goes, it reminds me of the old Aegaeon, which was always trippy and heavy as fuck.

I can see why they chose to write this style instead. By the type one song like Neural Union can be written, a whole album of songs like this can be completed. That song is just too ambitious to make a whole album out of, as awesome as that would be.

After hearing the complex layering and intense atmosphere in "Neural Union", this is quite a disappointment...
neural union was for sure what I wanted as well. this is definitely more like their stuff from "Being"
hopefully they are working on a full release and we'll have a bit of both worlds

Why does it sound so thin and lifeless? Did you guys mix this yourself? The drums sound almost completely absent. Love the band as a whole but the mixing/mastering has made it really hard to listen to any of the tracks from the human album and on. Wish you guys the best for 2016.

it does sound a little thin, I'll agree but some of it comes down to personal preference and not only what is technically better. also keep in mind CZcams compresses the shit out of certain formats
going back to the neural union.. the production does sound the same. while it does match for that song, in a groove song like this, heavier production would have helped. that being said, it's still pretty fucking good lol
It just sounds like the eq is a little lighter on the bass, I'm playing it in my car with the bass all the way up and it sounds amazing

As far as I'm aware Jerry left shortly after Neural Union was released to pursue other avenues in life. I believe he still composes music on the side but it sounds like it's more of a hobby now. Anthony's departure was more recent and to be honest, very unexpected for me. I was looking forward to his contributions to the new album... But I still don't know the official word on why he left.

They're definitely trying to cater for the every day metal listener. I can hear the thy art is murder generic breakdowns in there that would capture the interest from listeners that wouldnt be able to appreciate the 'being' EP or 'Neural Union'. They went a bit backwards.. Non the less its okay 6/10
