Solido Lancia Flamina No 121 restoration. Toy cast model.

This is the world's first die-cast model with opening doors. Lancia Flamina by the French company Solido year 1961. I bought this model at a flea market and liked it very much right away. It has great spring suspension and is very well made. My model was missing the roof pillars, which I reconstructed and glued in using cyanoacrylate glue. I also reconditioned the tyres, which were in very good condition for being over 60 years old. I had a lot of trouble making the box, as it was difficult to find pictures of the original Solido boxes in good resolution on the internet. In the end I was able to assemble the mesh in a graphics program and a 1960s box was created. I thank you for watching the video, I publish car repair videos on Tuesdays and Saturdays. "Not far " 😂 Pininfarina made two concept car named Florida, the 1957 was a coupè and Farina personal car . many stylistic features of those two concept cars were applied to the cars of that era.

Aero Willys é um automóvel sedan que foi fabricado pela Willys Overland do Brasil entre 1960 e 1971. Seu lançamento ocorreu em 25 de março de 1960, mas seu projeto vinha sendo discutido pela montadora brasileira desde 1958.

Do you save the molds you make for the different tires and figures and such. Or are they a one and some type of thing. And what started you on this hobby?

Of course it keeps its shape. some I've used over 30 times and they still do their job well. It seems to me that the inspiration for my hobby are the times of my childhood, when cast models of Western brands were very unavailable in Poland. Kind regards

Questa Flaminia Coupè ( con la i...) è un modello davvero elegante e ben fatto.
La rugosità di cofano e tetto però sembra un principio di peste dello zamak , un fenomeno di auto-corrosione del metallo pressofuso più antico. Tienila d'occhio. Piacerebbe vedere anche le iscrizioni e il dettaglio del sottoscocca .Il problema di cambiare colore arbitrariamente è che poi hai degli interni non più coerenti .
