If you put the DJI lut second to last node and then do a color space transform in the last node from color space Rec.709 to Rec.709 and a gamma transform from i think Gamma 2.4 to Cineon Film Log, you can use the Film Luts (the Kodak one that come with davinci).
You don’t need to do any colour transform. Just use the DJI conversion LUT or use a LUT from the link and no need to worry about anything.
Just make sure your colour settings are correct so when you export the footage doesn’t look different.
@@DimmyV That not what I was trying to say. I just meant that if you put the DJI Lut second to last and a color transform after it with the inputs I wrote down, you can use the Kodak Film Luts from Davinci.
@@marvintrvl ahhhhhhhh ok my bad. I believe in resolve 19 you have these effects to create your own as well.
for windows rec 709 scene?
Form a quick search I would stick to 709. If you want to confirm 100% I recommend checking some others channels out and see what other windows users go by. If anyone uses windows and know feel free to add your input.
@@DimmyV i tried 709 scene kind of was ok also using DJI AVATA 2 LUT and its interesting that you dont use collor space transform, why not?
@@vilnisphoto the DJI conversion lut already does that for me. I’m also not shooting in slog just normal profile on Sony. But it will be transitioning soon
@DimmyV I'm shooting on sony hgl profile and drone as I understand then lut does that for me and I don't need to use collor space?
@@vilnisphoto this LUT would be for DLOG M not HLG. Colour space is set so when you export it doesn’t look different from when you were editing.
Is this DR free or studio. Lose the sound effects with you arrows and captions.
DR is free the studio version is paid. Appreciate the feedback and noted. I add sound effects them in case someone is listening and not watching and the indicate something important on screen. I normally watch videos (listen to videos) while cooking and SFX help that. Thank you 🍻
why not use this ? Input Color Space: DJI D-Gamut
No need when using the DJI conversion it’s taken care for you. If you didn’t use conversion you could use that but it’s dlog -m not dlog

@@egnogra I don’t have the 4D but I assume yes if it’s Dlog-m. I would always watch a few videos to formulate my decision. You can also try both options and go with the one you prefer and gives you the results you’re looking for.
