That comparison at the end with 8GB vs 16GB was clutch. Actually surprised it was a lot more. Maybe in other games it would be.
Dual channel ram also has lower cpu usage
Walmart and electronic express are selling a version of this with a 3060ti, an i712700f with 1tb m.2ssd and 16gigs of 3200mb ram for 1199 which is pretty unbeatable when it comes to prebuilts. Finding a 3060ti prebuilt for under 1200 is very hard, most of the time you’re getting a 3060 or even a 3050 or of on the other side of the fence a 6700xt. But not only does it do that, it does it with a processor that’s way more than you need too. Only problem is cooling so you can either run the fans high or buy another fan for $20.
@@Nighterlev sure if you only care about raw frames and only on specific games like warzone. Other game benchmarks the 3060 ti still does better. If you care about ray tracing, lighting, water, and graphics then go for the 3060 ti. Also generally see smoother overall frames rather than stuttering or freezing. All that plus nvidia's tools are better.
@@tacticalimpact98 Raytracing is the only benefit of an NVIDIA GPU, and RT is primarily a gimmick, especially on those budget GPU's.
AMD does not have more stutter or other issues, if you have any issues that's your system and not the card.
Thank Ya for throwing the Mw2 Benchmark In There, Shows you Try to listen to your viewers! Keep up the Great Work!
I know you guys like Overwatch 2 but it seems like you include a really long section of gameplay compared to other games
Skip it if it bothers you then 💀
@@1upnolan340 constructive critism
@@1upnolan340 nah mate that’s good feedback for the video creators. The overwatch section took up nearly 2 1/2 minutes and there’s no timestamps so the segment could use a trimming
@@1upnolan340 bro is mad🤣
Cause it's casual like these two
Great deal, good solution for starters.
Good deal, but kinda worried at the GPU temps with the first game tested. Mid 80's. It's probably $500 bucks because it doesn't look like a gaming PC, but also the lack of decent airflow.
I don’t know much but for the price i can drill holes for air lol
You can always add an extra fan for $10 bux.
Its probably come with a small fan. A bigger fan or two can greatly increase air flow.
I bought a FlexiSpot standing electric desk for $180 from Amazon, great desk and the instructions were easy to follow! idk how it was so cheap, it's very solid!
I remember your name from a discord or two lmao, I forgot which ones tho
Great videos Jack and Matty really enjoy them thank you .
Hi guys, Great videos. Can you put dual channel into these HP Victus PC's???. Or does the newer versions have Dual channel? Cheers.
Needs more airflow, those temps are pretty high on the cpu and the gpu. And of course dual channel ram. Otherwise, not bad.
i got one of these after black friday as an open box return for 400. good pc. used it for 3 months then sold it in pieces for around 600 because no one would buy it whole
if you're deciding between this prebuilt or building your own just build your own you can get similar performance for around 400 dollars.
decent deal tho for a prebuilt.
better airflow too
I've seen quite a bit of Samsung memory in HP business desktops of late. They still use more SK Hynix, though.
I bought this exact pc over building one because of your channel. I went to 32gb ram and it is amazing for what I do.
SIgh...
@SoloGaming
I paid less then they did. Pretty sure I got a good enough deal for my situation
@Metcalf Mafia Motorsports If it works for you and you enjoy it thats awesome. Id just be more careful next time. You basically paid for the graphics card. The rest is e-waste. You could have gotten an msi laptop with a 3060 ti for around the same price as this desktop. Or a steamdeck. This is basically a Dell optiplex budget build which Instead of buying this you could buy a 5700xt for 150 bucks on ebay and a dell optiplex for as low as 45 bucks usually around 80 and it'd be better than this for a fraction of the price.
@SoloGaming So, the fact that I had an optiplex with an i7 6700k and a rx580 before this? I didn't need a huge upgrade. But, an upgrade nonetheless.
@@soloplaysgames9965 can u simplify what u said bc i’m trying to buy my 1st pc and my friend to get this one
It's so sad for people like me that are from Italy we get excluded from anything tech related because if you wanna buy something from america it has atleast 60-120 $ of shipping or can't even be shipped here
Come to australia, postage is mostly the same price or more than the item.
I thought about this build month ago. 12400f + rtx 3060.But bought Lenovo T5 the same specification. For 1100$...Pc parts very expensive in ky County.
Many refurbs from manufacturers like Dell and HP are lease returns. Large companies (including government entities) will often lease, rather than buy, computers, as this allows them to get the latest tech and they get to write off the leasing costs. Once the lease is up, the computers are returned to the manufacturer (the company will then lease a batch of new computers). The manufacturer checks them out and then sells them as refurbs.
At Costco in Canada, there is a brand new hp with an Intel Arc A380, Intel i5 12400, and 16GB of DDR4 Ram for $699.00 Canadian.
i got a rx550 and a ryzen 3 3100 build and i had single stick 8gb ram and went to dual chanel 8gb (2x8gb) and major major diffference. framerates jumped like 15-20 fps per game def worth it. i went with pny xlr8 ram
Bought an Omen in 2019.... really wish I woulda held out for these. 1650 Super vs RTX2060. AND A R5 3500 6 core VS A 12 THREAD i5! 400$ more for less lol
4:44 HP does infact use Samsung Memory in their builds. Ive seen and owned multiple HP builds which all had samsung memory,1,2,4 gb
What keyboard is that on the FlexiSpot desk?
Those temps are a good way to get you to buy a new computer every 3 years. It’s sweaty in there lol
after all the issues I've had with my Victus gaming laptop, and Hp refusing to fix the issues under warrenty, I am never going to be buying any hp products any time soon
They're selling this same computer in India for about $1000. It just has a 3060 in it, that's the only thing different
What program benchmarks ur games in video?
can i fit two hard discs into this victus 15 l ?? one is an 18 tbyte and the other is an 8 tbyte !! ?? thanks..................
quick question jack and Matt. My name is Maurice and I'm asking you guys to please review the ASUS Tuf gaming a17 2022 please. As always love the content you guys post keep it coming.
where did you get that keyboard? It's cool
i love the simple look it looks nice
I'm building a 1 TB / 16MB AMD 5600G for under $450. With my employee discount, it was closer to $400 total.
just a suggestion, many people like competitive people on a budget kinda like to see the most fps games like fortnite to get so could u try going on performance mode low settings and see the max fps?
I Have This Pc What Are Some Good Options To Upgrade ? I Play FiveM Mostly Kinda Laggy And Crashes Sometimes.
How come no here is talking about airflow and those temp ? well it is very good deal for a pc with those specs but still no one proposed a proper solution for airflow and temp ! i will be really looking forward to hear a solution
Shit you can't beat that for 500 bucks
yep i5 gen 12 is not cheap and 2060 is like 200 250
wish we had this in my country ,can't even get a CPU/MB for that price !
when pc parts price skyrocket like nivida 4080 for 1700$, motherboard over 300$. this hp pc save people lives
That desk is nice!!!
crazy what a good case can do i have same specs only my cpu is diffrent ryzen 5500 and duel channel 16 it runs 30c-45 peak temps
can you test out the minisforum hx90g / hx80g
For $500 not terrible honestly pretty decently priced for what you're getting. I think that for $500 you could get something better if you built it yourself but it would have to be a different cpu GPU combo. Honestly pretty impressed with this
agreed
No you couldn't. A decent card itself better than this one costs $500 or more. An i7 costs at least $300+
@@jon9590 i9 9900k goes for $250 on ebay regularly. 1080's which are much better performance than a 2060 go for under $150 I just picked mine up for $110, if you want something newer go for a 5700xt for roughly the same price you could easily build something for the same price with better performance especially with dual channel ram. 16gb is only $45 for 3200 mhz anymore. Personally I would go with
Ryzen 5 5600x for $100 or less,
a decent b550 for $100
Case PSU and SSD for around 100
16gb ddr4 for $50 or so
Leaving $150 for whatever graphics card you want. Probably a 1080, 5700xt or a 2060 that's not oem and will perform better. Maybe a 6600 if you can get a good deal I've seen a couple go for that low but it's rare. 2070s go for around $150 if you deal hunt a bit , 1070 ti's all day. You could even go with a 1070 and a cheaper CPU and get roughly the same performance given that the CPU is bottlenecked and build a similarly performing PC for $350
@@jon9590 for 500 you can buy a 3070 new, a 3080 used
@@LagiohX3 OK, but you still need the rest of the parts.. I never buy used as you take a chance with no warranty.
Pre-built PC's like these often skimp on some component quality & are also usually harder to update/upgrade in some ways due to proprietary changes & corner-cutting. They also tend to be loaded down with more bloatware, & have greater system cooling challenges. I would rather spend a little more & hand-pick each system component brand/type & build it myself when it comes to desktop systems.
Went to your website but didn’t see it for sale. 😢
...... that case format is so common these days xD
I found that DX12 is not great on Fortnite and when I change it to DX11, all the choppiness goes away. Maybe try that for next time.
Great value, the RAM is practically the only downside.
Don’t answer its a scam you might know that but I just wanted to warn you
@@shalecletheroe7025 Yeah those crap comments are all over youtube.
Incorrect. Please research before buying this junk.
Video card to a 6600xt video card would be better
That case is holding the temps back. A rehousing should be done.
Are these pcs as reliable as a ps4 or better?
how did you guys start off
Dang I’ve always wanted a gaming pc but never could afford it. My birthday is April 11th. I would love this or any pc. With me and my moms car just breaking down and bills I haven’t been able to save up for a pc. Maybe the pc gods will bless me for my birthday!
Yo toasty bros, can you review the MSI GF63 Gtx 1650 version??
By any chance do you guys know the adverage fps for apex?
Next time plz test spiderman, avengers on your budget PC's
I was just looking at this pc at Walmart last night
Who makes that baller keyboard in the desk ad?
This is by far the best deal I've seen on here
i paid 399 for mine bran new on a double clearance from walmart bro i was like cant pass up it has a 1650 and ryzen 5600g so imma upgrade the ram gpu and ssd and have a really nice pc. is it possible to case swap these victus btw?
YEA BUT U NEED AND NEW MOTHERBORARDAND POWERSUPPLY I JUST DID MINE AND TOWER OF COURES
this build is not bad. Can't be really improved and the guarantee has to be worth something in walmart, right?
You should test the 2060 vs a regular 2060, it looks like an oem GPU, I know that gamersnexus has tested dell oem cards and a lot of times they get thermally throttled because of bad cooler or even underclocked and can be weird. I wonder if HP does the same thing
I had an hp pavilion gaming desktop with an oem 1660 super that was actually a mobile card slapped onto a board that could fit in a pci. Card would always come up unregistered or unknown when trying to ID and performed like a 1060. These pcs are e waste. Shame on Toasty for shilling these un-upgradeable computers on to unknowledgeable customers
@@MysteriousStranger95 Why are you saying this p c gaming tower ain't worth five hundred dollars.. At walmart..
They sold it for $500 because it was worth $400 and they just made $100 off you. Its 2generations behind and its also value tier components with 2060 and i5.
Haha, true dat
Hey so can u show a roblox game like jailbreak as ur gameplay im getting thid pc but i judt wanna see if it can run all the games in max graphics
i'll just stay on my i5 11400H/3050/64GB of 3200mhz ram till i can build my next gaming pc, it will play anything i want till i get another tower built, although not a fan of Intel *( first intel based pc ever for me )* or gaming laptop's but it works just fine for now
It's out of stock lol I def wanted to see these PCs. You should add more games to your lineup. I don't play overwatch or the other kiddie game. If like to see AAA titles, dead space etc just new games and not overwatch
A fulfillment center is literally for third-party retail.
Dave Foley and Seth Rogen laying down the tech info!
I have this but with amd parts (r5 5600g, RX 6400, 8gb ram(sadly)
No wonder the Victus machines are so cheap: as usual OEMs are making generational upgrades impossible for the end user, so after 3 to 4 years realistically (sooner for a lot of people because AAA game requirements), you're going to be shelling out on an entirely new computer.
There needs to be laws written to prevent the practice of preventing motherboard upgrades. So much unnecessary e-waste.
what ram upgrade can i get for this pc
“So cheap!”
Me: ok! Lets see…
Also me: 500$!!?!
Refurbished or DKoldished?
What is this PC called?
is this better than building your own?
Damn only single channel RAM, that fucks it all up
pretty amazing build for gamers
nice keyboard 0:53
HP uses Samsung all the time. they swap back and forth depending on the price of the system.
You should try and find a desktop 3060 or 3050
How is it so smooth
I have this PC and all I did was upgrade the ram to 32gb an some more storage and it runs amazing
Do you know what fps it’ runs on the games you play?
I have that 2060 super 8gb in my home built pc that I got on Amazon for £200
do it run fivem?
i have that pc but it overheats when I ply halo infinite.
new fan or something that’ll fix ?
You can add a fan to the inside where the side screen is... just make sure the fan connector is long enough to reach and remove the ssd case and the little metal brace... drops temps quite a bit
That’s the exact one I got, it’s legit! It worked perfectly and properly and it was amazing and still is! I was wondering how would I put a new case on it though?
It is possible with the right kind of adapters.
If you don't want the trouble of figuring out what adapters you need, you can just buy a new motherboard that's compatible with your current CPU to put in a new case.
The HP motherboard really can't be moved to a new case because the front IO is built on
@@CPUjunkie it can be, but it isn’t worth it. Best case scenario would be doing a case graft. Outside of that you’d lose PCI slots not lining up, and a lot of standoffs won’t mount. HP uses two proprietary connectors on their PSUs, and someone already mentioned needed an adapter. You would need some type of actuator to activate the power button from pressing the one on the new case, or know the power button pin out for soldering extensions to the new case.
The USB and line in should be able to be addressed with extensions replacing the ones on the new case. I’m not sure about the SD card reader, but in theory the solution would be the same as the latter suggestion for the power button. Hard to say because a replacement could keep it from POSTing.
The motherboard may be the most useless part of the PC.
By buying a new case, a new motherboard, a new power supply, at minimum. Because they are all cheap, proprietary HP crap.
Can it handle Five m?
This video was amazing! I might even try to get that PC.
83C at onepoint what the...
Walmart carries that I store also here
In moroco just d rtx 2060 it 400$
Damn looks like I know what I’m getting
U end up getting it?
I have this build putting a 1660 super in it
Hopefully no single channel ram at the pc bros…
yo toasty bros!!!!! build an all newegg budget pc!!
where is the CD/DVD drive? lol
Nobody uses those and just about every single computer manufacture has stopped including those for the last 15 to 20 years. Where have you been all this time....still looking for your record player too?
Can you plz play rl when you do benchmark
if they can run cyberpunk they can run rocket league at 240+
God I thought that was Seth Rogan for a second
no clue
You really need to decluter your comments man. Half are bots spamming fake lottery scams
You look like hockey player Vladimir Tarasenko
They sell these cheap because they are cheaply designed and produced. I only bought mine to try out the newest 13 gen I7. The case is very thin and tinney. The CPU can't be upgraded to anything faster bercause of a matched power supply and limited cooling. It has only 2 memory slots so it's expensive to upgrade it. It has only one NVME m.2 slot and one 3.5" drive bay. For some unknown reason, the only USB-C port has only 5gig speed but the two USC-A ports above it on the front are 10gig. It's a micky mouse setup. All these things make the machine sink in value after it's sold. I would not buy it again, I would get the similar Dell machine.
