Here's a surprise for everyone, my next project.
A collaboration project with KingJigglypuff, this mod has been in development for about 3-4 months. While I handled animations and some GFX and was in charge of the project, KingJigglypuff coded everything. I wouldn't be able to get this done without him and Xenthos, who made the character model. MarioDox and ZBoy also contributed with shadow model and FS backgrond textures respectively.
The rooftop stage and its spookier alt were made by Nezha. You can get it here: gamebanana.com...
I'm not gonna give any release date until it's ready for release. That's just how I work. But you can ask me anything. There's a Discord server for that: / discord
Oh, also, he's broken. That's kind of the point. I made him as accurate as possible while sticking to the game's core mechanics, i.e. no inputs or hit cancelling.

The funny thing is that this happened because of a bet. "If you can make a Merkava model, I'll make him." Here we are.

The bargain goes even deeper because to get KJP's assistance, I offered to animate stuff for him, like Dark Samus. You can see the results on his Twitter.
Smash modders having cracked open SSBB so hard they've turned the game into customizable spaghetti: "fuck it, lets put an under night character into this now."
And yet we still can't have Pokemon Trainer in PM, but hey, Wario's bike no longer operates on Cyberpunk physics.
I'd like to have a word with whatever demon has been possessing you to make these incredibly good custom characters maybe do something about my motivation
This is someone I wanted to see in Smash but unlike Sora I knew the chances were really 0. The fact someone made a full ass mod for such an obscure character delights me. Now we just need Arcueid.

Min Min has range, but no mobility. Merkava has both.

Seeing a Merkava 3D model is so surreal, let alone a smash mod of him but it looks SO GOOD!!!
This character is really really well made (seriously, those animations are gorgeous), and looks really fun to play! Though..... I can't help but think he may be a tad overpowered (just judging from this trailer). Naturally I'd have to play him for a while to determine that, so I may be completely wrong here.
He is busted. That's kind of the point. I made him as accurate as possible, but he's a UNI character and a rushdown character at that.
@@anothenblue2630 Oh, in that case fair enough. Don't know what a UNI character is, but if he's supposed to be a Giga Bowser/Wario man-type then he's a very good one!
UNI - UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH. He's a normal character, but his kit simply has no place in this game without gutting him.

I do think he can somewhat be appropriately nerfed without gutting him. For example, the width of the screen in UNICLR and the width of the screen in Smash are completely different. His grab range could be lessened to match around the length he would have in his home game rather than going for screen-wide here.

JP Voice actor would have been nice though.
Since no lip sync is required, that's easy to do. I have the necessary files.

If only Merkava is a DLC guest in GGST post-S1. It would be BST blazing.
Comsidering GGST make character adhere more to a small group of archetype (example: Gio is a rush down and Sol is a striker), a limb based zoner with flight, fire ball, setup oki, and command hit is too much archetype for one character

@@hdh7934 He did have ball oki for a while until like, Xrd I think? Like his oki was one of the easiest in the game until it was nerfed in one of the installments
@@pacowallochenkenrick Raven was introduce in Xrd Revelator and has ball oki in all versions of Xrd he was in, but in Rev 2 they made it require excitement gauge and made it harder to set up. He was pretty braindead in Revelator because of how strong and easy it was to set it up.

yall went absolutely IN on the final smash, too. I don't even play smash but the effort that went into making such a faithful moveset is incredible

This is absolutely insane, I love it. The model and animations are very high quality. It honestly looks one to one to the original animations.

This has to be one the coolest looking mod both visually and mechanically all around very nice job now im just waiting for a mod on soul of cinder or manus from dark souls aswell as a monster from monster hunter.

Every single character coming out from an Airdasher fighting game would be OP in Smash. Every single one.
Probably not Potemkin since he would have 0 combo potential and hitting hard once means nothing in Smash or else Bowser would be high tier in older games.

The favt you are able to do cut scene final smashes just amazes me...sence the only character in base brawl with a cut scene final smash is captain falcon...it probably takes so much talent to do this
Actually, all it took was thinking outside the box, it's very easy to do, but it's not stable. Waluigi's, on the other hand, is legit.
