This was probably one of the best tours they've had. The joy radiating from them is surreal. How could they be having this much fun this far into their career? I saw them this same tour in Detroit and Thom seemed in such a fantastic mood. I always thought of him as grumpy but by God they all seemed as full of life as ever. And you can see that here. It's pure bliss.
They played SO many different songs, across their catalog. A sincere attempt at "Creep", first time in a long time (it felt rusty and forced on the In Rainbows tour imo), they played friggin' Blowout for the first time in the US in 2 decades, that was amazing. And then little gems like House of Cards, very underrated on In Rainbows. Top-notch tour, proof the band is not out of steam whatsoever.
I agree... maybe The King of limbs is not one of their best albums, but this was the most amazing tour, the energy was awesome... I saw them here in México, it was fantastic
