  • In this sixth instalment of the Astra Award-nominated series, the Code cameras go deep inside the
Brumbies organisation as the planning for the 2016 season begins. For the first time, cameras are given VIP access to their inner sanctum as each cog in the Brumbies machine starts to turn in anticipation of another successful year.
The Code spends two months with the team as they navigate their way through the intensity of preseason preparation in Canberra, a three day training camp in Jindabyne, through to their warm-up fixture against the Waratahs in Wagga Wagga.
Secure a front row seat to one of professional rugby’s most successful teams, as internationals, veterans and rookies all embark on a journey to secure the greatest prize of all. The Code allows the audience to witness the personalities behind the players, and the people who will help them in pursuit of their ultimate goal.
The off season is a distance memory as players and staff start to populate the University of Canberra facility as an official green light shines on the pre-season period. Each department roars into action as we take a special look at the coaching style of Stephen Larkham and how he has handled the transition from player to coach, first year Athletic Performance Director Ben Serpell talks about his plan for the team’s physical preparation for 2016, the day to day routine of the team is examined and the commercial team look to engage fans in the lead-up to the Christmas break.
